Eine Krankheit zu haben, ist schon sehr schwer zu ertragen. Eine Krankheit nicht zu verstehen und nicht zu wissen, was mit dem eigenen Körper geschieht, macht es noch schwieriger und unerträglicher.

Als Betroffener, als Angehöriger oder als Wissensdurstiger sucht man im Internet nach Informationen. Immunglobulin-A-Nephropathie (IgAN), C3-Glomerulopathie (C3G), atypisches hämolytisch-urämisches Syndrom (aHUS) und Lupus Nephritis (LN) sind Krankheiten, die das Organsystem Niere betreffen.

Betroffen sind junge Menschen zwischen dem 20. und 40. Lebensjahr. Das Medianalter für C3G liegt bei 26 Jahren. Daher sind auch Jugendliche oder sogar Kinder betroffen.

Bei C3G wurden im Jahr 2017 weniger als 4.000 Patienten gefunden. aHUS betrifft weniger als 2.000 Menschen, z.B. in den USA.

INSIGHT KIDNEY versucht erstmals, seltene Nierenkrankheiten mit anatomisch korrekten 3D-Darstellungen zu visualisieren, um die Wissenslücke für Patienten zu schließen.

Mithilfe von ARKit können Nutzer mit INSIGHT KIDNEY einfach ihre physische Umgebung scannen und die dreidimensionale Niere platzieren. Unsere virtuelle Assistentin ANI führt Dich durch die verschiedenen Zustände der Niere.


Begib Dich auf eine Reise durch die Niere, von der makroskopischen bis zur mikroskopischen Anatomie, und erkunde die Strukturen der Niere in noch nie dagewesenem Detail.

INSIGHT KIDNEY hat neben den anatomisch korrekten Darstellungen auch pathologische Veränderungen visualisiert und verständlich gemacht.

Löse beeindruckende Visualisierungen der gesunden Niere, CKD, aHUS, IgAN, C3G und LN aus und mache Dir ein Bild von ihrem Zustand und dem Schweregrad.

Aufgrund der Seltenheit besteht ein enormer Bedarf an greifbaren Informationen über diese seltenen Nierenerkrankungen.

Hier versucht INSIGHT KIDNEY zum ersten Mal, diese seltenen Nierenkrankheiten mit anatomisch korrekten 3D-Darstellungen zu visualisieren, um die Wissenslücke für Patienten zu schließen.
