So I bought a Insta360 Flow Pro gimbal and downloaded the app for a trip I was taking. Installed, synced and tested everything and all worked fine, in fact, better than expected. Went on the trip, an ATV excursion in the wilds of Arctic Norway and went to use the camera only to get the message, Software update required. So here I am in the wilderness with no cell or wifi coverage and this useless software not working until it updates. Pretty poor software design guys.
I just get that three days ago. I use these apps what is very fantastic. I love it make my life very simple. I’m far away to be a professional. I have a lot to learn, but this apps is a fantastic for a beginner. Thank you to Instra 360+
It cost $700-800 NZD and doesn't do anything they say it can do because without using it through the app it doesn't work. Will not record. It worked initially for about a month; I used it around 10-15 times over that period. Then nothing. Nada. Useless to me. The selling feature for me was the magnet. If its not hands free its just another piece of plastic littering the planet. Seriously thinking if chucking it away. My recommendation is don't waste your time and money. Assume all their gear is overpriced rubbish based on its performance or lack of.

Love it; easy to use - something it stops after 15minutes- it likes to be close to the action otherwise it can look a bit soft,overall happy
First time users and the Insta 360 x3 is a no brainer fun gadget. Great seeing its capabilities and what not. The app has a lot of useful videos and great content as inspiration. The app is lacking as it tends to lag when editing. We noticed when we’d try ‘Deep Tracking’ > start tracking - it glitches and returns back to the video and no changes loaded. We’ve tried this on three different devices and results are the same for this particular part of the app.
The latest aglow update has broken something with stabilisation on other cameras like the ONE RS and X3. There seems to be a weird juggling effect after exporting the footage. It looks good in the app but the exported footage is jittery and wobbly.
I changed the text’s position / timestamp in a story, but the exported video still uses the old position/timestamp. Tried clear app cache, restart app and phone, no luck.
Never buying again any camera from this shady company!
