Why does Instapaper read my clipboard when opened?

iOS 14 finally exposes all the scummy apps that have been secretly reading your clipboard contents

Excellent

I have to say, and this is my first ever review, I find Instapaper’s service and app to be excellent and I had no hesitation in becoming a premium subscriber. The integration with other apps makes it possible for my partner and I use it as a shared bookmark resource. Then there is the reading view, which is so comfortable to use. Saving this view as a pdf also gives great results. A great and affordable tool thank you.

A superb app

I have been using this fine app, the free version, for years now and it only gets better and better. Elegant, granular control of the functionality, and well later out - focuses on the reading and not whizzy GUI and flash bang wallop

Great reading app but crashes

This is an excellent reading app. I am docking it stars because it crashes all the time on the iPad. Also there is no facility to highlight text for future reference.

Poor update

Love this app but the latest update is not uploading my articles or deleting ones I have read. Annoying from my favourite app.

My only issue with Instapaper is that I can't keep up with the amount of articles I save. The design is beautiful and defers to the content when it needs to. Syncing works very well. The editorial content is great and it's full of clever little features that makes it great to use

This app just gets better

Instapaper is an app that continues to move forward providing great updates to what has always been a great product. The developers recent focus on accessibility has had a dramatic and unexpected effect on how I consume information. Being dyslexic the inclusion of fonts designed specifically to help deal with the problem has increased my reading speed hugely and removed the need to go back and read a page again. I would highly recommend this app to anyone looking for a better way to consume information.

Great on iPhone and iPad. Instapaper has the productivity side-effect that you can easily postpone reading articles without losing track of them.
