I wanted to try this app, so I sent my money hoping it will arrive on time. It got deducted from my bank account instantly but even after 72 hours, my dad never received any money. Now even after multiple attempts with support staff, they are unable to do anything about this or fix it. STAY AWAY AT ALL COST

There is no customer service. You try to send money and keep waiting for the money. You will never know what is going to happen to your money. I placed the transfer 3 days back, did Interac money transfer to Instarem and still the transaction is showing “awaiting payment”. Raised ticket and no update. Tried connecting to the live agent, but not able to do so. Stay away from this. There is no way I can do less than 0 for the review, and I was forced to give atleast 1 as review.

Super limited options if you want to send money from Canada

This company is new to me, I usually use Wise or Western union to send money back to Phils and to use while I’m there. But I hate the fees I have to pay when buying foreign currency and transferring it to e-wallet on Wise. Western’s good when I need cash but it charges me $5 every transaction. Tried this out to send money for family to buy groceries, it just took a day for my account to be confirmed. Sent money to their g-cash account at 10:48AM and got an email that it’s in their wallet at 12:55PM which is faster compared to Wise which takes 4-5 days plus fees. I didn’t pay for any fees, it was just a simple e-transfer method. Hopefully it’s free every transaction. I found out about this because I checked the currency exchange rate on Wise’s website and found Instarem at the top and it said 0 fees so I had to check it out. Pretty skeptical at first because this company is unknown to me but my experience has been good so far. I regret not finding out about this app sooner, would’ve saved me a lot of time and fees. They also had an option to pick up the money in cash instead of e-wallet. Plus there’s a rewards program. Try it and see if it works for you but if you’re looking for no transaction fee and quick transfers this beats all the other money transfers right now. I know because I’ve tried about every money transfer while I was in the Philippines and it’s one the those things that impacts how you’ll enjoy your travels. Not having to worry about running out of cash or having to pay for fees is one less concern for me now. I use a lot apps to send money abroad, gave this one a try, it takes a while for them to say they received the money even thou my bank arealdy said money is deposited . Also, after sending the e-transfer to them, my bank locked my account out. My money hasn’t been sent yet nor received by them as per their app. This definitely the first and last transaction I make with them .

I did my first transfer to Malaysia for my brother and He got the money at best rate and no fee at all.

So slow and literally no service.

NOW MY MONEY WILL BE STUCK THERE FOR 7-12 DAYS MORE, TOTAL HALF OF MONTH! BRO I NEED MY MONEY BACK. it will trick you by giving you higher rate at first time sending but then it will not go through and boom you got nothing and your money will stuck there for HALF OF THE MONTH! GOOD LUCK !

I am using this app from long time. This app is reliable and safe. But only disappoint is its conversion rate is 8-10 paisa less than Remitly. It’s matter when you are sending huge amount. Please work on it.

I loved the app and best of all the other money transferring apps. Most of the times, my money was sent within 4 to 8 hrs + the rate are best in the market with 0 transfer fees. Best in class. Thanks Instarem.
