It also features a Tone Generator just like a pitch pipe with four different wave forms. With advanced DSP (Digital Signal Processing) algorithm, it is highly accurate (±1/1000 semitone or ±0.1 cent precision). Rather than providing only one mode like other tuners, insTuner supports different tuning modes applicable to different situations, such as Instant Tuning Mode for quick tune and play, Fine and Strobe Modes for accurate tuning, FFT Mode for sound analysis etc. What's more, many advanced features are provided such as Concert A calibration, historical temperaments and transpositions, which make it more powerful than other tuners. insTuner is well-designed and easy to use. It features a unique "fixed" note wheel, which helps you to find the position of detected pitch easily. You can also use it as an electronic pitch pipe to tune by ear, matching the generated tones. It is suitable for tuning acoustic or electric guitar and bass, ukulele, mandolin, banjo, bouzouki, bowed strings, woodwinds, brass, timpani and more. In fact, almost any instrument that sustains a tone can be tuned using insTuner. It supports Built-in Microphone as well as Line-in and other audio interface such as Apogee One. Clip Microphone is supported too. === FEATURES === * Universal App, purchase once, available on all of your iOS devices: iPhone/iPhone5/iPod/iPad. * Supported both Landscape and Portrait mode * Precise to ±1/1000 semitone (±0.1 cent) * Tuning Range from C0 to B8, covering the range of almost all of musical instruments * Instant Tuning Mode * Strobe Tuning Mode * Fine Tuning Mode with a highly responsive tuning meter for perfect tuning * Historical Curve Mode that shows tuning results over time * FFT Tuning Mode for frequency analysis with Log, Linear or Note Display options * Real-time Spectrogram Mode with Log, Linear, Note and Median Frequency Display options for real-time audio analysis * Well-designed "Fixed" note wheel display * Adjustable A4 (Concert A) calibration in 0.1 Hz increments * >30 historical temperaments * Customizable temperaments * 12 notations * Needle damping * Customizable transposition options for transposing instruments * Tone generator with four wave forms * Line-in and Built-in Microphone Modes * Customizable Input Channels * Supported Apogee One * Supported Inter-App Audio * Supported Audio Bus * Optimized for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus ===About EUMLab=== We make the best music Apps for you! I'm a professional clarinetist, and I've told all of my musician friends to use this app." "I highly recommend this app and who can beat the price. My violin teacher compared it to her personal device. She wants an ipad to get the app for her personal use. " "I have the iPhone 5 and play tenor sax, I compared this to a 40 dollar tuner and its perfect..." "As a high school band director, I use this tuner more often than my strobo tuner. Besides the obvious portability, it is actually a bit more sensitive than the multi thousand dollar strobo and I Iove the multitude of options!" "Absolutely love this app. I use it for my guitar, my son's violin and upright bass. The new features are even more amazing..." and more… ---------------------------------------------- Enjoy insTuner? The new version works to begin with , but eventually crashes much like the previous app. -- khassler, 2025-03-16 ### ***** "Reliable tool" I constantly use this app when gigging or teaching. It’s on all my mobile devices, along with the metronome by the same developer. -- JayHoustonTX, 2025-01-15 ### *---- "Bad update" Crashes constantly -- Not weed, 2024-11-10 ### ***** "Very good" Very good -- freddymac, 2024-09-22 ### *---- "Thomsenmusic.com" I have used the paid version of this app for my voice, guitar my wife’s students. We both have helped sell many of these to our students. The strobe setting is the best for voice. Both of our apps quit doing the strobe but instead do the simple read m out on the free app the app quits when we got to settings. I went in and downloaded a second one for 3.99 but that doesn’t work either. I am using an iphone at 17.4.1. I’m sure I can fine something else but my students and i rely on this app. Can you help and maybe refund my 3.99 too. Thanks Peter Thomsen -- thomsenmusic, 2024-04-20 ### *---- "Last updated 8 years ago" Crashes constantly. Deleted, reinstalled, still crashes. I’m using an M1 iPad Pro. -- Futurethink, 2023-10-09 ### *---- "Hasn’t been updated in almost a decade" Has a app breaking bug where you can’t tune if you change your devices orientation. The tuning needle disappears. Been this way for a couple years now. Disappointing. -- ohwaitwhat, 2023-07-07 ### *---- "Crashes & Should be removed from the App Store" I’m using the paid version of this app with iOS 16.3.1, and it crashes ever time I attempt to access the settings. If a software developer isn’t going to maintain their product’s functionality with somewhat regular updates (last update was 7 years ago), then they should stop selling it. -- Bassist & music teacher, 2023-03-18 ### *---- "Total garbage" Does not work correctly on iPad Pro 2021. -- thepaulstella, 2022-01-09 ### **--- "Great when it works." Paid for the upgrade cause free quit opening. One day later, paid doesn’t open either. -- gennmisc, 2021-01-27 [View all InsTuner reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## InsTuner Store Rankings | Chart | Country | Category | Rank | |-------|---------|----------|------| | Top Paid | Russia | Music | #7 | | Top Paid | Mexico | Music | #29 | | Top Paid | Saudi Arabia | Music | #58 | | Top Grossing | Russia | Music | #71 | | Top Paid | Hong Kong SAR China | Music | #72 | | Top Paid | Thailand | Music | #73 | | Top Paid | Lebanon | Music | #74 | | Top Paid | Vietnam | Music | #75 | | Top Paid | Philippines | Music | #90 | | Top Paid | Czechia | Music | #92 | | Top Paid | Azerbaijan | Music | #96 | | Top Paid | Brazil | Music | #102 | | Top Paid | Kuwait | Music | #103 | | Top Paid | Indonesia | Music | #105 | | Top Paid | Dominican Republic | Music | #108 | | Top Paid | Taiwan | Music | #118 | | Top Paid | New Zealand | Music | #118 | | Top Paid | China | Music | #119 | | Top Paid | Ecuador | Music | #122 | | Top Paid | Russia | Overall | #127 | | Top Paid | Malaysia | Music | #130 | | Top Paid | Portugal | Music | #136 | | Top Paid | Greece | Music | #146 | | Top Paid | Singapore | Music | #147 | | Top Paid | Ireland | Music | #150 | | Top Paid | Denmark | Music | #151 | | Top Paid | Türkiye | Music | #156 | | Top Paid | Norway | Music | #157 | | Top Paid | Hungary | Music | #157 | | Top Paid | United Arab Emirates | Music | #159 | | Top Paid | Italy | Music | #160 | | Top Paid | Austria | Music | #164 | | Top Paid | Netherlands | Music | #169 | | Top Paid | Poland | Music | #171 | | Top Paid | Mexico | Overall | #173 | | Top Paid | South Africa | Music | #174 | | Top Paid | Chile | Music | #175 | | Top Paid | Canada | Music | #176 | | Top Paid | Switzerland | Music | #176 | | Top Paid | Peru | Music | #180 | | Top Paid | Finland | Music | #189 | | Top Paid | India | Music | #191 | | Top Paid | Sweden | Music | #192 | | Top Paid | Australia | Music | #193 | | Top Paid | Spain | Music | #195 | | Top Paid | Belgium | Music | #196 | | Top Paid | South Korea | Music | #197 | | Top Paid | Israel | Music | #214 | | Top Paid | France | Music | #227 | | Top Paid | Romania | Music | #229 | | Top Paid | Kazakhstan | Music | #234 | ## InsTuner Discovered Keywords -
