## Intercepta Description
Intercepta is a powerful on-device HTTP/HTTPS debugging proxy built for developers, QA engineers, and security researchers. Capture, inspect, modify, and replay network traffic — all without connecting to a computer.

HOW IT WORKS

Intercepta creates a local VPN on your device and forwards all traffic to a local Man-in-the-Middle proxy server. No remote servers are involved — everything stays on your device. As long as the VPN is active, Intercepta captures all HTTP/HTTPS traffic over Wi-Fi and Cellular Data.

Decrypt and view HTTPS requests and responses in plain text using a locally generated certificate authority. Your CA private key never leaves the device.

Real-Time Traffic Capture
Monitor all HTTP/HTTPS traffic from any app on your device in real time. View method, URL, status code, headers, and body at a glance.

Request & Response Inspector
Detailed view of headers, cookies, query parameters, and body content with syntax highlighting for JSON, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Request Replay
Resend any captured request to test API behavior or reproduce issues instantly.

Request Modification
Edit headers, body, URL, and method before replaying — perfect for testing edge cases and error scenarios.

On-the-Fly Rewriting
Modify requests and responses in real time using custom rewrite rules. Redirect URLs, inject headers, or mock responses without touching your code.

URL Blocking
Block specific domains or URL patterns to test offline behavior or remove unwanted network calls.

WebSocket Support
Inspect WebSocket frames including message content, direction, and timestamps.

Smart Filtering & Search
Filter traffic by domain, HTTP method, status code, content type, or full-text search across headers and bodies.

Export Options
Export captured sessions as HAR files or copy requests as cURL commands for use in Terminal or Postman.

DNS Mapping
Override DNS resolution to redirect traffic to custom servers — ideal for staging and development environments.

Intercepta's Root Certificate is a self-signed certificate generated entirely on YOUR device. All captured data is stored locally — no remote servers, no cloud, no analytics. Your private key is stored in the iOS Keychain and never leaves the device. We do not collect, transmit, or share any of your network data. No account required — works completely offline.
