Through story, in video and interactive formats, children learn about their feelings and what adults can do to help them when their feelings get too big to handle alone. The approach offered in this app provides a way for adults to respond to child behaviors that are often called “tantrums.” The app includes a separate guide for adults. Bilingual (English and Spanish). Endorsements: "Dr. Claudia Kohner has created a wonderful app translating ideas from contemporary theory into words and images that will be readily grasped and useable by young children and their caregivers. The app’s basic messages—that emotions are universal and good, that intense emotions felt in isolation can be disruptive and disorganizing, and that we all need attuned responsiveness from others to help with such intense emotions—are invaluable ones." :: Robert D. Stolorow, Ph.D., Founding Member, Institute of Contemporary Psychoanalysis, Los Angeles "This app is both consonant with current developmental research and grounded in an essential tenet of childhood emotional health: that only in having our big feelings understood by another can be begin to effectively manage them for ourselves. . . . With her app, Dr. Kohner has given parents, therapists, and teachers an unparalleled tool to help us promote the emotional experience and vocabulary necessary to assure a child's essential mental health." :: Thomas Brauner, LCSW, Ph.D., Clinical Social Worker in Private Practice ## IntroDUCKtion to Big Feelings Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple113/v4/b4/0e/d7/b40ed7f2-5371-7188-60af-8e2a92e1d176/pr_source.png/2688x1242.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource114/v4/6c/7a/25/6c7a25ec-4912-d17d-0cc3-5e3f767155b2/04822de0-afe4-4be4-a654-1281c0a9fb69_G12_ININ_ENG_MAIN_2-2688x1242.png/2688x1242.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource114/v4/7a/92/3d/7a923d70-0408-3247-bfcf-2e74eed7e13f/956982ce-0501-48cd-a95a-6d8a447ef885_G12_ININ_ENG_MAIN_8-2688x1242.png/2688x1242.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource124/v4/8e/37/61/8e3761ca-9658-34ee-b941-5d4890ba675b/60c505fa-ef2e-4f16-a2de-ce5a2357a30e_G12_ININ_ENG_MAIN_11.2688x21242.png/2688x1242.png) ## IntroDUCKtion to Big Feelings Rating Breakdown in United States - 5 stars: 2 (100%) - 4 stars: 0 (0%) - 3 stars: 0 (0%) - 2 stars: 0 (0%) - 1 stars: 0 (0%) ## IntroDUCKtion to Big Feelings Reviews in United States ### ***** "Excellent app" A first primer in identifying feelings in a lovely way For parents, educators, therapists and the like. Best 3.99 you’ll spend. -- GInaPapa 52, 2018-03-13 ### ***** "Excellent!" Excellent tool for teaching children about feelings! This book has helped my son become more aware of when he's having a "very big" feeling and has led to positive conversations about things he can do in various situations. A great book to have handy for all parents and teachers of young children. -- Dakata, 2013-06-15 [View all IntroDUCKtion to Big Feelings reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Apps Similar to IntroDUCKtion to Big Feelings -
