Wow! What ana amazing idea. Simple and easy to use… since I’ve had my iParcelbox I haven’t had to collect a parcel from the post office or local shop! On the one occasion I did need some technical support, I used the chat option and had the owner assisting me within 2 minutes! Customer service second to none!
IParcelBox is a brilliant idea. I have not had to collect parcels for ages now. I did have a glitch and used the online chat. Wow within 4 min I got a reply and help and advice. The control is excellent with simple-to-use buttons; there are also helpful videos if you get stuck.
What’s that? Getting vendors to use it. Having purchased a secure box before, in 2019, in three years it had been used three times. I was very reluctant to get another, albeit a more sensibly sized one. When I did and it arrived I set it up without too much difficulty (do read the instructions carefully first. I thought I had but did have to start from scratch once) and tested it and, having a few things expected, waited for the alert on my mobile in anticipation. Nothing! I’d stuck the card on the door frame but no notice was taken. It is tiny, so I typed out, on an A4 sized sheet, a plea to all deliverers of parcel, newspapers, etc to please use it. That it’s surely easier to push a button and open a box lid and get a proof of delivery code than, in these days of rural crime reportedly increasing (we do live in a village) risk it disappearing - a plus for them - and also pointing out that we may well not be in earshot of our doorbell but my phone will tell me if the lid has been opened so there might be some contents - a plus for us. That seems to have worked and I estimate that about 90% of our deliveries, those when we aren’t seen to be there to hand them to, are now left in the box. They have all been dry, too - other than slight dampening before the item is in the box and the lid closed. So far, I’ve had just one package that couldn’t be - too long - and some, not all, newspapers are still squashed through the letter box. All told, I’m very satisfied with the iparcelbox - and it’s app - and hopeful that non-conforming vendors will also be.
Really responsive app, instant notifications, and very easy to use. Good amount of options while keeping the app simple. Love the product, app doesn’t let it down.
Great product and the app works well with it, it would be nice to have a Apple Watch app in case I don’t have my phone with me.
