## iPegs Description
An artful tuner designed by and for professional musicians working in classical and early music. The tuner provides a tone that is easy to tune to, or it can listen to you. It includes twenty-five default temperaments, and if those aren't enough, you can add your own. It allows for easy selection between flats and sharps in meantone temperaments.

Keep your instruments in iPegs (strings, courses, frets, diapasons) and tune them string by string. The string calculator works out gauges and tensions from the string length, the pitch and the material. Profiles put your pitch, temperament and instrument one tap away.

Full list of features:
- Tone generator with five different tones, playing one note or several at once
- Tuner with four displays, including strobe bands for each overtone
- Instruments, with a string tension and gauge calculator
- Profiles
- 25 included temperaments, shown on a circle of fifths and an interval size chart
- Customizable note names (A4, fixed Do, a', etc.)
- Temperaments can easily be shared with others
- Reference pitch (A4) adjustable from 350 to 500Hz in 1Hz increments
- Supports transposing instruments
- Footswitch support to change tones

## iPegs Reviews in United States

### ***** "Great app!"
The developer has added so many new options and features! Love the new interface — efficient and easy-to-use — and now it even has its own strobe-like listening. The temperament interface is by far the best one around, including the ability to actually tune all the chromatic notes in a meantone temperament!

### *---- "Crashes in iOS 9"
After I updated to iOS 9 on an iPhone 6, this app fails to open. It hangs and crashes.

### ***** "Great with VoiceOver"
Title says it all.

### ***** "Wonderful Tuning App"
This app is easy to use and extremely accessible with the Voiceover screen-reader. It's great for tuning by ear, which is what I do, and I'm glad I won't have to carry around a brace of tuning forks anymore. :)
