iPeng 9, the music remote for the Logitech® Squeezebox™, has been designed for the latest iOS versions and fully supports all iPhone and iPad form factors. 
iPeng 9 is a remote control app that will work all over your home with your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Apple Watch.

You can also purchase an additional playback capability as an In-App-Purchase that will turn your iPhone or iPad into a full-blown music player for your Squeezebox Server or Roon Server.

### ****- "Artwork issues with streaming services"
With streaming services (I have Spotty and Tidal) iPeng has serious artwork issues, half of the thumbnails don’t load. You need to sort of scroll back and forth and prompt the artwork to load until they do. This is not the usual slight lag due to server resizing artwork, its behaviour looks like it could be fixable?

Apart from that, iPeng is mostly a dream. A superb app and great developer who listens and improves.

### ****- "The best App available on iPhone but…"
I have used this App for the last few years.  It has everything you need that is featured on the Squeezebox controller and is easy and straight forward to use.  I would highly recommend and my only issue is I have a lot of music in FLAC hosted on a NAS and I have noticed more recently that the App keeps irritatingly having to update the cache whilst using it.  This is not an issue on the arguably more simple but more stable Squeezepad App I have on an IPad.

The UI is terrible on a phone and feels extremely dated. Annoying forced help pop ups that you can skip but not disable. 

Expensive for what it is, I see no reason to use this app over the material skin which works nicely as a PWA app when added to the Home Screen, only it’s missing lock screen controls.

Looks like the author has abandoned the app, but left on sale at a high price for what it is. Avoid.

This is a great idea however if I select the first track of an album it plays a few seconds of the track and the jumps to a track further in the album. If I select an album and play from there the album plays fine. Not an ideal word round. I can’t see anything obviously wrong and I don’t get the problem when using the Squeeze Box Touch. Internet radio is great.

I bought iPeng for my iPad and everything seemed to work apart from playing the actual music!!!!
Now it wants me to pay again to play music!!,,

Intermittently, I get distorted audio (sounds like being in a wind tunnel) since I upgraded my phone from iPhone X to iPhone 13. My network environment has not changed. I close then re open the app and it seems to fix the issue. It only happens when I use the phone as the player. Playing directly from my squeezebox server connected to my amplifier there is no issue. I have squeezebox version 8.2.0.  Please help! Thanks !

Is good enough for connecting to the different players, but recently have started to see a lot of issues when playing from the app on the phone speakers, for instance the songs will randomly skip, restart and repeat on their own. Also sometimes will glitch out very badly and lag and sometimes you can only hear white noise, and the only way I have solved this problem is by resetting the app. This does not happen on any of the other players in the house, so unfortunately must this app causing the problem. Probably needs bug fixes and updates please.

Logitech were mad to drop the Logitech media server and it’s been kept  going thanks to dedicated volunteers.  I now run LMS on a pi and Ipeng is the perfect controller ... handles my 75000 tracks and is seamless with qobuz.  What’s not to like... if ever there’s a major change I would be ready with my cash.

Synch working at all with OIS - players randomly stop working but synced players carry on, or won’t start when already synced.  Also continually bombarded with requests to upgrade to UE.  Support won’t respond. Given the only reason not to migrate is that UE doesn’t support synchs of non-squeezebox radio products this makes the app entirely useless.  Looking for an alternative.

Fantastic app I still use to listen to my FLAC collection via my iPhone. 

Haven’t used my Squeezebox hardware for a while but iPeng still in use and still loved.

Request: Coolio, if there is any way to work your magic to make it so HomePods could be selected as target players (without using Airplay from my phone) that would be fantastic - it would be worth another IAP for me and I hope many other iPeng fans!

Really great app for controlling multi room squeezebox / LMS compatible players.  I’m running LMS on a music server controlling 2 x squeeze box classics, a Logitech radio and a couple of RPis with DAC amps wired to Kef ceiling speakers. Easy drag and drop syncing of rooms whenever you want. Great app and still well supported. Thank you.
