Great App

It is a great app for sure, practice tool. I suggest to allow to write some rhythm notation very necessary for intros, for example: sometimes you have to play songs you have never played right on the spot, the rhythmic notation will do the miracle. My last suggestion all my students practice with this software but there is room to improve, we need that ireal be compatible with realbooks, again; "a song request we haven't heard", we need to playthe melody. Guys due respect, this is the 21th century and probably the last one. We need you to search for better software sound and more possibilities for the working musicians. THANK YOU SO MUCH. I believe you have released a great practice tool, and the best part there is lots of room for improvement… Sincerely RBarak.

Game changer for jazz musicians

I’ve had this app since the first year came out. I absolutely love it! So easy switch keys for singers, easy to make modifications to chords and add intros and codas. It has become the gold standard for everyone I know.

Ireal Pro - If you don’t have it, you NEED it.

If you are a musician at any level, this is the app for you! Imagine being able to practice any of hundreds and hundreds of INCLUDED songs at any tempo and in any key. Any number of choruses. Ability to select the rhythmic style. Ability to select the instrumentation of the rhythm section. Ability to dial rhythm instruments up or down - or out. You can even enter your own song chord changes. It’s not just a practice tool. You can hook your phone up to an amp and perform in public with this app. Make playlists. This is one of THE most well designed, well maintained and useful apps anywhere.

Real drums!

The new real drums on jazz styles are awesome, thanks so much! Biggest wish would be for medium and uptempo swing brushes. The brushes that were added sound terrific, and the open even 8th note groove is really nice. Hoping for more real drums on other styles in the future, as well as other instruments. I have used this app for charts for many years…my only small gripe would be the input delay when creating my charts. Thanks again!

Indispensable

This app does everything I need to practice jazz and many other genres. I use it with all my students and my original compositions as well. It’s less good with rock music. There are fewer rhythm tracks available. But there are excellent choices for Latin, Brazilian, and Blues.

IReal is a must have for the practicing musician. The ability to learn standards in all keys alone makes it essential for anyone who takes practicing seriously.

This app is fabulous.

I’ve had it for a few years now and me and most of the people I play with also use it. It’s so versatile, you can change the key the speed the style, choose the chord position that works best for any given tune and so much more. There’s a great selection of songs and the support has been incredible. You can even correct the music by changing the chords. It’s a bargain. Get it, you won’t regret it.
