Window seat or aisle? Booth or table? Lone wolf or life of the party? In Is This Seat Taken?, your mission is to organize groups of people according to their preferences. It’s a cozy, no-pressure logic puzzle game where you’re in charge of who sits where.

Whether it’s the cinema, a crowded bus, a wedding reception, or a cramped taxi cab, every setting introduces new characters with specific tastes. A party guest with a sensitive nose won’t be happy sitting next to a stranger who’s wearing too much cologne. A sleepy passenger won’t be happy trying to nap on the bus next to someone listening to loud music. It’s all about reading the room to find the perfect placement!

Nat is an aspiring actor whose world gets turned upside down when they see a shape just like them on the big screen. This discovery sends Nat on a global journey to meet their hero and figure out how to fit in. I love this game! It’s so cozy and cute! There is just one thing tho…
When I go back to the main menu after I have done multiple levels. I don’t get the star for some. For example I do 4 levels. Level 1 & 3 don’t have completed stars, only 2&4 have stars. Please fix this.

But I still love this game! It’s giving animal crossing puzzle! Just the vibe and the mellow chill music and fun sounds! Also please add more levels I loveee the gameeeee!!

Stopped playing this game because there is no obvious way to start a level midway through making playing the game on the go frustrating. Having to restart a level from the beginning for the fifth time because you can’t fully finish all the scenarios before getting off the train/bus is super annoying.

This is one of those games you can play in your free time that is puzzle based, I didn’t follow along to the storyline much but I thought it was cute and this game is very unique compared to the rest with original ideas and different challenges. However it is a more expensive game that has you just doing the same things over and over. Good for a bit, just gets boring after awhile.

### ***** "Charming game, doesn’t save mid-level"
Super cute and charming game. The puzzles are mostly solved by shuffling things around rather than any big “aha” moments, but there’s a couple interesting constraints. The different wacky scenarios and quirky characters were fun to see any time I picked it up for a quick level.

My expectation for a mobile game is that I should be able to pick it up and play in small chunks of time, so I was frustrated to find it doesn’t save after completing a segment of a level, only after completing the entire level. That’s completely normal for Steam, but the reason I got it on mobile (paid more, actually) was because it seemed like the perfect game to play in a couple minutes of downtime. I hope this can be updated to improve the mobile experience.

I made it through all the levels in less than a week, even just casually playing in the evenings. It’s such a cute, smart, fun game and I wish there were more levels - esp for the price. I hope they release updates! Even though, it was so fun I will probably reset and play again at some point.

When a game is REALLY good, you get addicted. And when you’re addicted, you finish the whole game 100% in 3 evenings! I purchased this app on a whim because I thought it looked cute, and prayed that the price tag would pay off- it’s the most expensive app I’ve ever bought. It certainly did pay off with an uplifting and soothing design aesthetic, a heartwarming story, genuinely funny bits and pop culture references, and a very relaxing soundtrack which kept me calm during the handful of stages that I got stuck on for 20 full minutes. I don’t play logic and puzzle games often at all, but don’t let the adorable icon make you think it’s made for kids… the difficulty level challenged me well at age 30! I can only hope that someday there will be additional levels added.

I played the demo for this game on Steam and fell in love with it. It reminds me of some of the logic games on the LSAT (but more fun of course). I’m docking two stars because it’s missing a crucial feature which is cloud saves. I can’t share progress from my iPad to my iPhone and have to start a new save file for each device. I will update my review once this gets fixed.
