simple and amazing
It works really well, is simple and gets the job done. The app itself is open source, which is a very good thing.

Awesome app (with +points for being open source)
Now I can code small homeworks to school on iPad, great job!
But I have an issue with it. If I download anything (For example a git-clone directory of minix, which is exactly what I did), (I'm going to explain it in a more traditional sense, exporting, not mounting), I cannot move any files from the container of ish into my general filesystem, ie I cannot move them to my system drive (On my iPad), so that I can make the file independent of ish, which would be handy so that I would have a backup. However it doesn't seem to work at all, more than anything, the file manager/browser//filesystem is confused, and it just gives the error "Couldn't Communicate with a Helper Application", which in Alpine Linux sense would probably mean or be worded more like "The Application Suddenly Quit" or "Couldn't Write to (Device)". This is despite the feature being advertised. Please fix it, it would mean a lot to me. It's quite problematic, and I have fully cluttered drive, so I need to do a lot of decluttering of files.
One word... Perfection. Thanks for making it open source.
If anyone wants an Alpine package manager, go join the TestFlight Beta
缺少ESC,CTRL,ALT,INS,END,SHIFT等必要按键,而且那个方向键也极其的不方便,不要说什么为了简洁,简洁之前要看看实不实用(Translation: Lack of necessary keys such as ESC, CTRL, ALT, INS, END, SHIFT, etc., and the directional keys are extremely inconvenient. Don't say it's for simplicity, before simplicity, we need to see if it's practical)
Very cool, used on a iPad mini 2 16gb. I am a prominent user of Linux and wanted to use it on my tablet, but shell isn’t very usable without x11 support as my device does not do usb mass storage. It does have a range of packages, but I am also only used to bash shell contrary to what ish uses. Otherwise good app.
PLEASE UPDATE RUBY
This app is exactly what I needed on my iPad for coding without my mac! I’ve always wanted to be able to do light development in c/c++ and python with git support on the iPad and this app perfectly allows for this. I was able to install z shell instead of the base ash that comes with this version of linux as it better matches mac. Everything I wanted to install in the environment was able to be installed (though like mentioned, I only really wanted to be able to do minimal work on projects while away from my desktop). Like some others mentioned, it can be slow at times and have keyboard inputs freeze where you have to restart the app. Also, I wish there was additional themes for the app and native support of multiple windows. Overall this has been the best linux environment I have used on my iPad and would highly recommend this to any developer!
