------------------------

Isochronic tones are regular beats of a single tone used for brainwave entrainment. Similar to monaural beats, the interference pattern that produces the beat is outside the brain so headphones are not required for entrainment to be effective. They differ from monaural beats, which are constant sine wave pulses rather than entirely separate pulses of a single tone. As the contrast between noise and silence is more pronounced than the constant pulses of monaural beats, the stimulus is stronger and has a greater effect on brain entrainment (taken from:

## Isochronic Reviews in United States

### ***** "Still useful in 2026"
But what happened to the owner?
-- another-iphone, 2026-05-03

### ***** "Awesome"
I enjoy being able to customize and save tones that fit my needs.
-- h4k3r322, 2026-01-10

### ***-- "Clicking Effect in Speakers"
The app seems to produce a “clicking” effect when run through a good set of powered speakers. The clicking effect stops when run at the same time as another app that is simultaneously playing music.
-- Bassman 5000, 2025-11-09

### ***** "Awesome app"
Hi! I love everything about this app. Thank you for creating it!!

One request: is it possible to extend the timer? I want to be able to play the sound for more than an hour. Thank you!
-- peasblossoms, 2025-05-09

### ***** "Simple and excellent"
Delivers custom isochronic tones
-- Mad_reviews, 2024-12-24

### ****- "Useful, besides random pausing"
The tone will pause randomly when I receive a notification. Besides that, I enjoy the app and the UI
-- pogmuffin, 2024-11-23

### ***** "Exactly it + nothing more = AWESOME"
Isochronic tones with a simple Interface — that’s it. You can layer other apps over this one for any effect you want . . . and the isochronics are already handled.
-- RatChild#499, 2024-08-30

### ***** "Use it for focus and sleep"
Whenever I need to hunker down and get work done, I start this app along with some background music and—idk if it’s the placebo effect or what—I can get stuff done so efficiently. Same with sleep. I listen to a podcast before bed and have this on in the background and I can feel myself being slowly lulled.
-- Stardelice, 2024-07-12

### ***** "it works with media!"
i really wanted to play isochronic tones over other media like music or youtube, but for the most part ios doesn’t really allow that. i’m thrilled to find that this app works in the background! i would like to be able to change the amount of time over which the tones ramp to the target frequency since it currently happens very quickly and i don’t find that very useful, and if we could tell it to play x frequency for y minutes followed by x frequency for y minutes with multiple sections it would be really cool for all sorts of stuff like falling asleep or getting started in a project.
-- Tyramos, 2023-12-26

### ****- "Simple and effective tool"
This is a very simple and useful tool for entrainment. I used it to experiment with my meditation and inducing faster deeper entry into meditative state. It worked for me. I’m going to try it for others things now ( studying, staying alert, etc). The one thing I wish the app would do is gradually ramp down volume as it reaches the time to stop versus a hard stop as it does now. Overall, the app is well done. Thank you.
