## ISS Detector Description
Have you seen the International Space Station? It is visible with the naked eye!
This is the easiest way to spot the station.
ISS Detector will tell you when and where to look for the ISS. You get an alarm a few minutes before a pass. You will never miss it. ISS Detector will also check if the weather conditions are right. A clear sky is perfect for spotting. 

Extensions will enhance the functionality of ISS Detector. With an in-app purchase you can add many famous satellites and amateur radio satellites. See the Starlink satellite trains, Hubble space telescope, rocket bodies, Vanguard 1 and many bright satellites.

Hey Derk, good morning!

I updated my iPhone 13 to iOS 18 yesterday.  
ISS Detector opens just fine to the main screen, and I can access the settings menu and buy packs, but whenever I tap on one of the satellites on the main screen, it opens and then the app immediately crashes.

I've tried restarting my iPhone and even uninstalling and reinstalling ISS Detector, but the same issue keeps happening.  
Unfortunately, I can't use the app after updating to iOS 18.

I’ve been using the free version of this app for several years. Very easy to use. I haven’t experienced any hiccups with ISS Detector. It lets me know when the ISS will pass over my area & where to find it. I watch it most nights when it’s visible. I’ve also seen the Chinese space station. 

If you haven’t seen a ISS flyover before, it’s a humbling experience you won’t want to miss.

This app is great. Except that it only works when first installed. The next time you open the app it won’t load. I have to delete the app and reinstall it every single time I want to use it. There must be some sort of bug that needs to be fixed. if it wasn’t for that, I would give it a five star review.

TLE's always up to date, correct predictions based on current location, uses the inclinometer in your phone showing proper elevation and shows real-time doppler correction for the downlink.   

Doppler correction for uplink is backwards, it shows a positive correction for the uplink (wrong).  Not much of an issue for mode V/U birds but U/V such as AO-91 you need to start uplink 10 kHz down at AOS.   Remember: Shift up for downlink, shift down for uplink.

I’m running the latest version on an iPhone 12 and iOS 17.0.2. The predictions are generally very reliable. However, the functionality for accessing Calendars has been broken for me for some time. There is no setting in the app’s Settings -> ISS Detector menu and there is no entry for ISS Detector in Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Calendars. The dev’s website lists no contact address so I don’t know what to do other than hope the dev sees this.

### ***-- "Could Be A Lot Better for Hams"
GoSatWatch is still my go-to app for satellite work on iOS devices. Primarily because it allows me to use customized Keplerian data and don’t charge for the ability to do so. Not only is the ham Kep data an extra charge, the feed is riddled with inactive satellites that should be purged from the list so I don’t have to be the one to filter everything out. There’s far better TLE resources available, but ISS Detector does a great job of ensuring you can’t use them. If that one change was made, I’d easily raise my review to at least a 4 star - possibly 5 stars. But as for now, ISS Detector is a secondary resource. I wish I had better things to say. I wish the developer was more open about the data they allowed us to use. I hope the extra money we pay is making them happy. It’s surely not being redirected into enhancing the product or adding new features. Just more of keeping the lights on. Take a look at what others are doing - especially GoSatWatch.

Prob the best satellite application for amateur radio satellites. However, I do have one small feature request. Is it possible to add a “search” for a particular sat from within the existing selected list or elsewhere without changing the current selected list? Example: If I have 10 sats that I’m tracking, I can’t seem to narrow down my selected list to just focus on a single sat without unintentionally changing my selections. I have re-select my priority list each time after a search.  If this is already possible, I can’t discern how to do it. Thanks!
