Fabulous
I have be using strobe tuners for many years, and have the app for about. As a cellist I can say it meets my requirements to tune in perfect fifths. Love it and happy to recommend.

App is $15 AUD, but only gives you access to some of the features, many of what should be core Peterson features as you’d expect from their hardware are locked behind some rather hefty paywalls, $100 unlock everything + initial purchase price. $115 AUD. Is just insane! There is also zero mention in the app screenshots or description about these features behind locked behind a paywall. The app should either give everything it has to offer as part of the initial price. Or the app should be far cheaper (free) with paid upgrades.
So good I’ve intonated bridge saddles with it. Sometimes struggles to find the root amidst a other harmonics, but eventually gets it. Any chance of an Apple Watch app? There are three mics on my Ultra, please, Peterson, put them to good use!
I find the base app excellent and can’t add anything to existing reviews. The Accordion Sweeteners however proved very disappointing. Aside from “Cajun” about which I know little, there are three sweeteners for tuning three banks of treble reeds, ie a sharp set, a flat set and for the middle set you tune to concert pitch. That’s a pretty simple approach but so be it. My gripe is that the three fixed settings give you (in cents): “Dry”: -0.5 / 0 / +0.5 “Medium”: -1.5 / 0 / +1.5 “Wet”: -25 / 0 / +25 Those who know will understand the severe tuning limitations given the above. I wish I’d saved my $14.95.
I have used this handy strobe for many years now with guitar setups and is every bit as good as the more pricey hardware version. Extremely accurate and reliable. It works well at gigs too- i would sit my phone on top of my rig and just use it via the iphone mic. I even use it to check my own singing pitch and that of other sound sources
I have several tuner apps on my mobile phone, but this one really is the most accurate for me, I also purchased the guitar and bass sweetener and set it to ACU and after tuning, I can hear that my acoustic guitar is really in tune, compared to other tuners that doesn’t sound right to me even after tuning. Now, I’m using the James Taylor’s flat tuning method and it sounds great. Thanks, Peterson for bringing this wonderful tuner to mobile app.
Works perfectly. My go to when not plugged into my gig gear
Four stars because it’s accurate and will do A=432. Knocked a star off as I think $15AUD is a bit excessive.
I use it to tune my Rhodes. Works great. I haven't tried the sweetened tunings yet. You have to buy all the keyboard ones together and it's a bit pricey (less pricey than hardware though).
From the images it looks like you are getting all the tools. You are not! Go get a free version elsewhere. The upgrades would bring this app to over $100aud. All you get is a regular fake stupid strobe tuner screen with the usual configurations. It's way over priced at $15 and ridiculous bate-and-switch for $100+
