Lots of extra purchases to get the full features
Nice app and all. However you have to spend a lot of extra cash to get all of the extra advanced features, this I did not expect. The bare bones purchase is basically just the strobe tuner. I checked this tuner out on my iPad Pro using a tone generator and just the internal mics on the iPad, and the tuner is bang on 100% correct every time. I also bought the extra “sweeteners pack” for guitar/bass because I wanted to try out the “sweetened tuning” ACU mode on my acoustic. This proved an unnecessary purchase as it made any tuning issue there was worse, impossible to get an open D to even remotely ring in tune. I guess this is a testament to the intonation of the guitar, which was a little surprising because it’s basically a dirt cheap Fender where the factory fret dressing left something to be desired. I use the standard EQU mode for this acoustic now, and it rings acceptably in tune to my ear. My plan is to use this app for intonation work on my electrics getting the Peterson adapter for 3,5 mm headphone jacks in the future. This I think will work splendidly.

Everything you need in a tuner! Very precise and with lots of options. Excellent app!
The go-to-tuner
Since the addition of "sweeteners" and temperaments you can do pretty much everything with this app. Pricey for the non-pro musician, but very affordable for the dedicated student or pro. Fast and easy to use.
Good stuff
For precision tuning it's great but I'm lacking features like getting help with alternative guitar tunings etc. Especially at this price range.

Jag har använt Petersons produkter i många år jag är väldigt förtjust i dem och de är helt klart de främsta inom sitt område. Därför måste jag säga att när det släpps en produkt helt utan olika tempereringar så blir denna app helt värdelös för mig. Så snälla, låt nästa version innehålla åtminstone, valotti, ett par medelton och werckmeister, annars blir clear tune den klara vinnaren och mina pengar kastade ner i ett mörkt hål.
Tillräckligt bra för piano
Detta är den enda riktigt vassa stämspparaten jag stött på hittills. Väldigt glad att jag slog till!

I have tuned My piano with this software. It works great, except for the C1,C2 octaves where the built in mic in the iPhone dont work. havent tried with an external mic yeat. Its worth the money, highly recommended!
