I decided to try with an old phone I had that no longer receives updates. App worked flawless with the old phone. I have used the app with my new phone. iPhone 12 mini. But after a couple years the 12 mini no longer worked with the app. Hope this helps. Still don’t recommend the app. But this might make it possible to use for some. I had this on a 2005 Mustang GT and the unit itself died, luckily SCT sent another. The app barely works at this point, and now on my 2010 Explorer I can get it returned to stock because every time I click “program” the app locks up and freezes. It works fine on computer but I can’t drag my pc out to the car . The derive app o can’t even locate to add to my phone e to see if it will work there. It this app doesn’t do anything . There is little to no documentation on how to use the other available portions of the app to address the timer. Update firmware for the tuner doesn’t work. It’s really sad and disappointing. I’ll likely never buy another SCT product because of how this is not supported and my last experience with their RMA & Tech support processes.
