Connects directly to your HomeKit home with zero setup. All communication stays local on your network – no cloud, no accounts, no tracking.

SETTINGS-STYLE INTERFACE
Familiar iOS design with rooms, devices, and controls laid out like the Settings app. Tap a room to see its devices. Long press anything to customise. Everything is where you'd expect it to be.

FULL DEVICE SUPPORT
Supports all HomeKit accessory types with tailored controls:
- Lights (on/off, brightness, colour picker, colour temperature)
- Thermostats and AC units (heat/cool/auto modes, temperature steppers)
- Door locks and garage doors
- Blinds and window coverings (position and tilt)
- Fans (speed, direction, swing, auto mode)
- Security systems
- Humidifiers, air purifiers, and valves
- Temperature, humidity, motion, contact, air quality, CO₂, smoke, and leak sensors

AUTOMATIC GROUPS
Itsyhome detects similar accessories in each room and groups them for you – all the lights, all the blinds, all the fans, all the switches – with a single master toggle and one expandable list. The same logic builds whole-home summaries: tap to dim every light at once, close every blind, or run every fan. Zero setup, no manual grouping. Hide an auto-group anywhere you don't want it.

AUTOMATIONS
Browse, toggle, test, edit and create HomeKit automations right inside Itsyhome:
- Time of day with multi-day recurrence
- Sunrise and sunset triggers with offsets
- Accessory event triggers (open/close, on/off, motion, contact, lock, etc.)
- People arrive or leave
- Day, night, or specific-time conditions
- Run only once
- Turn off automatically after a duration
- Reuses the same controls you already know to set accessory target states
- Edit existing automations without rewriting the underlying scenes

CAMERAS
Customisable mosaic grid showing every camera at once with live snapshots. Resize tiles to full or half width, drag to reorder, and tap any tile to jump into the live stream. Pinch to zoom, double-tap to focus on any spot, rotate for landscape playback. Overlay buttons let you toggle lights, locks, and garage doors right on the camera feed. Talk button for two-way audio on supported cameras.

All your HomeKit scenes with live status – the toggle reflects whether the scene is currently active based on actual device states. Tap to activate, tap again to deactivate.

I saw this on reddit and was intrigued.  I figured the price was low enough and the app looked good enough that I’d toss some support their way, so I bought it.  After a month and continued updates by the developer, it’s really awesome!!!  I work from home and just having the easier access to HomeKit controls right from my Mac menu bar is so convenient.  I don’t use any of the more technical bits (yet!) but the app is worth the price just for the convenience and ease-of-use it affords.  IMO, this is a Mac “Must Have” app.

I learned about this app on Reddit and as a Home Assistant user, I look for new and innovative ways to make life easier and automated.  Dashboards allow great control and can be visually stunning, but when I want to quickly perform a task (turn on a light, adjust the thermostat, etc). I don’t want to have to open a browser, navigate to the dashboard and find the control.  This app is super fast, fully configurable and imo the best home assistant add-on I’ve ever seen.  The free version is awesome.  I’m not sure I really needed the pro version, but I purchased anyway since the cost was minimal, one-time fee (which I love as I hate subscriptions) and I wanted to support/reward the developer.  Amazing app!

Not the most intuitive interface. Why is resizing so difficult and no arrows for dragging guidance.

The camera interface is made for ants, I can barely see it on my 6K 32” monitor. Please add an ability to resize & save layout.

I saw this app mentioned in the HomeKit Reddit group. It’s such a great idea. The ultimate convenient way to access your Home devices while working on your laptop. Way more convenient than opening the Home app and digging into the rooms. Pin rooms separately to the menu for the quickest access to the rooms where you spend the most time with your laptop.
