ITVX

If a scene is dark then I am ‘watching’ through darkness. Often no idea who the characters are on screen because it is a black screen. Put the captions on so that so I can hear about what is happening in the darkness. Not always easy to find my next episode either. Have to endure commercials over and over. Doesn’t make for enjoyable viewing.

Please please please fix this app!! I used to use it every day, but for the past couple of months it won’t work when casting to chromecast. It will play up to the first adverts, then crashes. So so annoying, please fix it!!!

Whenever there’s a commercial break you get this ooops something gone wrong and you have to disconnect and then connect your chrome cast in order to cast again this has only happened in the last couple of months.

Every time I cast ITVX it cuts off at every advert and I have to wait until the adverts pass and reconnect. It really has put me off watching ITVX as much as I used to. It’s really annoying. I hate this app! What’s the point in trying to watch a series if it cuts you off every advert?? I’m done with itv!

For some reason certain shows aren’t viewable due to when the programme goes to the ad break it freezes. I’ve tried to redownload the app check for updates and any other steps google suggests but it hasn’t worked which is disappointing. This appears to be a common problem when searching online

Used to be such a good App but over the last couple of years it has deteriorated to the point it’s almost unwatchable. Programs freeze, app takes you back to the start of program whilst playing sound from where you left off. Have to reload the app and then get another pile of adverts. Seriously, ITV, what is going on?

This app is great but just too many unnecessary ads in between.

Poor customer compliance. Ask for recent episode, have to all over town to find. Worst apps ever! Make it simple, so we don’t have to waste time and get frustrated!

So the problem is when I cast to my tv then the adverts come on it just stops casting and won't go any further so I have to disconnect and watch the adverts and then reconnect until the next advert and I then repeat the process

Easily the most glitchy, buggy miserable user experiences I’ve had with a streaming service. Don’t bother, the amount of time you’re going to waste attempting to watch something is simply not worth even downloading the app.
