Setting up the camera was very difficult for me. It was hard to setup Wi-Fi and directions were a little difficult. You can only face the camera one way because the camera is not flexible.

Bam look at that!  I must say this was the easiest cam I have ever installed. I read a lot of reviews with people having problems and giving poor reviews well listen up! (First connect to your local network in your WiFi settings, it will tell you that there’s “no” internet connection, at this point stop ,touch nothing for 3 minutes during this 2 or 3 minutes the camera and app will configure, pair, and come online all by there selves.just give it the time it needs, no more than 3 minutes. It has a really good picture.
Give it a try!!!!  No issues so far first five star rating I have ever given and well deserved.

Fairly good camera while it is working. However there so many quirky things that cause it to fail. Use a SD card just causes problems. Yes I’ve formatted it a few times and a couple of times with the assistance of APPLE. It works better without the SD card. It has a narrow view point. The internal battery is only good for about 2 hours. But for $14 on Amazon it’s not bad. I have 3 of them. Just be prepared to tinker with it occasionally.

This is the worst chicken door, and I didn’t think there could be one. I bought this because my previous door didn’t open automatically on the hottest day of the year and I lost 4 of my 6 chickens due to the door not automatically opening at dawn. So I thought this one would be better having it connected to WiFi and being able to verify that the door is open. I can’t even connect to the door about 90% of the time unless I reboot it manually from the door itself. It doesn’t have a light sensor to open automatically at dawn and close at dusk you have to manually set the times. Which is okay if I could actually connect to the device to do this. DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK!!! I wish I didn’t just buy this on emotion before reading the reviews.

Considering how much the mini cams cost I think it would work it should also be an app for MacBook too there is none, it crashes saying connecting or request service I know it’s not my wifi because other devices snd app work great just not this cam or wifi I live with narcissistic in laws and needed this to work to get evidence if ever needed but this was a waste of money I really couldn’t afford to buy on especially since it fails and crashes more than works.

I got the camera from seeing the ad on Facebook. First thing I saw after I bought it was it was shipped from China and took 2weeks to get. When I got it it was a night mare to connect with my Wi-Fi. Next thing was it doesn’t recognize my memory card and trying to format it it times out each time. Didn’t come with a magnet base like the add says. Tried the camera on my truck to backup to my trailer and disconnected once while I was backing up and had to hit the brakes. Don’t know if I can really trust it. Not worth the money.
