This was a great game to play. I got it because of the period scenes, interior and exterior. It did not disappoint. They were beautiful! I was a game artist, art director and producer for many years and worked on hidden object games as well as main stream five star games. The last hidden object game I was lead artist on was magicians handbook. This game, Jack the Ripper, had a good mix of searching for hitting objects mixed with other types of puzzles. I’ll get a game like this as a diversion, just as a leisure game. It does that well. I don’t understand complaints I read in other reviews. Some of the reviews were very old, so maybe it was about the earlier version of the game, but I got this in 2025 and this version was fantastic. Also, complaining about $1.99 or $2.99 for games - be realistic! You can barely get a small french fries for double that! Some of the storyline was a little silly, a little campy, but I wasn’t expecting Fallout 4 for a couple bucks in a hidden object game. I do admit that I was a little disappointed with the ending - I would have written it a bit better than the that- but like I said, this is just a small hidden object game, not a multimillion dollar title. Great work, guys!! -- Anoplius, 2025-08-23 ### *---- "It closes suddenly" It suddenly closes every time I play -- ArashAkbari84, 2024-12-28 ### *---- "Poorly created" I was very disappointed in the storyline, the puzzles, the graphics, and especially the technical setup for sensitivity to touch. Not worth the money or time. -- (she), 2019-02-13 ### *---- "Terrible rip off" I purchased this game and it will not let me play. Asking for me to purchase again to go forward in the game!!!!!! -- miss300game, 2017-08-06 ### *---- "Stupid game ever" Are you serious this was the most stupidest game ever , the detective was literally annoying me he popped up in every crime scene, and it has the most stupidest ending ever I mean seriously who wants to see someone get scared by serial killer and run off with his tail between his legs. There is not one single game that is like that -- Night Barren, 2014-06-05 ### ****- "It's okay...." I DID buy it because I was curious. As I said, it's okay. -- Soose1a, 2013-01-18 ### *---- "A letdown" The story line does not hold your attention, and the gameplay is dull... A reused format redone badly... The only thing interesting about this game is the title. Def will not waste money on the full version. -- Ashleypu, 2012-11-26 ### *---- "Same as others from full version" Can't get pot of formalin or whatever like said on full version comments. I paid MORE than the 2.99 version, which is bs, and still can't progress. I want refund. Don't buy this game unless they update and fix or refund!!! -- Yodatchi, 2012-11-25 ### ***-- "Okay, I guess" The game seems sort of interesting from the free version, but I don't think I will buy the full version. $2.99 seems way too high for your typical hidden object mystery. -- Jillbobill47, 2012-11-23 [View all Jack the Ripper : Letters from Hell -
