Description

JamUp is the #1 multi-effects processor for guitar and bass. Available for iPad and iPhone, JamUp gives you instant access to a ToneCloud® sharing community with over 10,000 presets from artists, users, and our own Positive Grid team. It’s designed to work seamlessly with BIAS Amp to create your ultimate guitar amp, and with more than 3 million users worldwide, JamUp has been featured in Macworld, Premier Guitar, Guitar World, Guitar Player and more.

The original JamUp comes equipped with one amp and six effects. JamUp Pro gives you the power of six amps and 16 premium rack and stomp-box effects, including distortion, compression, tape delay, tremolo, and spring reverb. Both JamUp and JamUp Pro include Jam Player, phase sampler, tone sharing, preset manager, optional 8-track recorder, live view, tuner, and metronome.

With its easy-to-use drag-and-drop interface, JamUp enables you to arrange a studio-quality collection of amps and effects models into your own custom signal chain. Get the optional expansion packs for access to a mind-boggling 52 amp channels and 50 classic effects.

Each amp model has been developed using Positive Grid’s MESH multi-stage modeling technology, and has been meticulously measured and analyzed against actual hardware. With its dead-on accuracy and tube-like touch and feel JamUp delivers vastly-improved sonic performance over other mobile digital amp modelers.

Import songs from your iTunes library to jam along with using the Jam Player module. Adjust the tempo and pitch with the high-fidelity time-stretching engine. Easily record and layer looped parts with the sound-on-sound phrase sampler. With the built-in tuner and metronome, and optional 8-track recorder, JamUp delivers a complete, professional processing and recording solution.

Join our worldwide community with JamUp’s ToneCloud® connectivity. Create, share, and download custom presets right inside JamUp. Check out presets from top artists, staff picks, or user-created tones from all over the world.

Stop working

fmeireles on

It was great for our family Violin fun and training, but it just stopped working, and does not play anything more. I tried support, nothing… tried in-install and re-install, nothing… tried turn on and off the cell phone, and nothing. I have an IPhone13 and sadly it’s not working I hope in some point they will solve this issue Ahhh, the paid version, didn’t work too, so I asked for refund, and I’m waiting for it Please, make it work again Thanks

Static

Robnish1 on

Anyone know how to get the horrible static sound out of my headphones.

Wow. Fooled again.

So I’ve just downloaded this app, and was excited to use the metal amps, like the loomis or even the orange amp and come to find out they aren’t available. Wether you have to actually BUY them or you have to do something to access them is beyond me. I’ve been fooled again by these mobile amplifier apps, it’s all a money hungry system. Even the preloaded presets sounded terrible. I’ll stick to my amp sims on my MacBook that I’m not forced to pay to play.

Killer tones but…

Paid user also on

JamUp won’t recall my saved presets rendering JamUp useless to me. I’m trying to replace MainStage on my Mac and I thought JamUp/iPad might be the answer. Bummer

Best practice app

atcspec on

Been using it for years only thing that can make it better is you could load any mp3 files on it other than what’s in iTunes

Not what I expected

SFC Jim Turner on

I have tried many times to lay tracks on 8-Track. Every time I do there is terrible clicking present in the playback. Wish positive Grid would fix that issue. I also cannot get looping to work at all.

Not working

mr sharkbait on

I’m wondering just what’s happening. The app has simply stopped working. No matter which amp model is chosen or what volume/tone combos are selected I get exactly the same sounds and volume.

Would be perfect if it wasn’t for iTunes music audio import crashing

funkyfishfly on

This would be the perfect guitar practice companion, but it doesn’t seem to be able to import audio to my 2016 iPad Pro before crashing. I’m running the latest version of iOS and the app. I will contact support.
