## Jane Online Appointments Description
**Jane Online Appointments is a *HIPAA and PHIPA/PIPEDA compliant app* used only when iOS users need to gain access to their secure Telehealth calls**. Please note, this is not a traditional App. Once the App is downloaded, you can tuck it away for safe-keeping and continue to access your Online Appointments via your default iOS web browser, Safari.

How it works for a client:

- Head to the clinic's online booking site.
- Book a visit with a practitioner that uses Jane and offers Online Appointments.
- Download the **Jane Online Appointments iOS App.**
- **Exit the App, and tuck it away for safe-keeping (you will not need to access it again unless an update is required).**
- Navigate to your default web browser, **Safari.**
- If you booked an Online Appointment with a practitioner, you will receive an email 30 minutes before your appointment with a link to begin the session, or you can begin the session from your My Account area of the clinic’s online booking site.

How it works for a staff member:

- Login to your Jane account.
- Set up an Online Appointment treatment type and book a client for an Online Appointment.
- Download the **Jane Online Appointments iOS App.**
- **Exit the App, and tuck it away for safe-keeping (you will not need to access it again unless an update is required).**
- Navigate to your default web browser, **Safari.**
- Go to a booked session that will start within the hour and tap on "Begin".

The person I was seeing needed me to use this app and I was supposed to have a lot more access to it, but the only time I was able to gain access into the app was when I had an appointment. Which led to terrible communication with the person. horrible app and should not be used. Do not recommend anybody that needs to use this app for a professional setting.

The first time I used it on my iPad it worked fine. Every other time I logged in with it the camera was turned 45 degrees. Nothing I did worked to right the camera. It was only this way when I used the app. Otherwise the camera on my iPad worked fine. It forces me to use my phone which is frustrating because the screen is so much smaller, it’s hard to see what my physio is demonstrating.

Did you outsource the coding to a mushroom? Zero scaling for the UI. I am actually amazed Apple even allowed this on the store. One button is centred. The other visible button is cutoff by the gesture bar. Not even sure there are other buttons at all. Can I log in? No idea. What options does the app offer? No clue. I suggest you speak with the office that uses this app and get them to find a new one. This is pathetic.

Pls hire some engineers to fix the bugs. After the initial intro screens there are only two buttons that are clickable - the remind me how to join video call and other being join as staff. No way to dismiss the demo screens and actually enter the app. Had no choice but to delete the app soon after installation. Very frustrating experience

This app needs a lot of improvements there needs to be an official Mac OS appointment app. This app is one of the worst apps I've ever used even on my iPhone audio was very choppy the whole appointment for a local Vancouver based company in Canada. This is one of the worst apps in the App Store. Please make some updates for band with control, I think that will solve most of the issues and please make it an official app for Mac OS

Says to click the link in the email on the same device. Do that on my ipad and the only options that show up are the browsers. Browsers then redirect to the App Store, click on the link to open the app and it just goes back in circles 🤷‍♀️

The entire Jane set up is not designed for patients at all. I have to sign up with a different email for each kid that the practitioner is seeing. I can't get into my account unless I use a link in an email by the practitioner, the app is only for video calls, the app doesn't send emails properly, I will get 2 emails providing my appointments for one kid but not for the other. And they have now changed what certification you can use to subscribe to the calendar so I can't subscribe to the calendar on my iPhone. Even when I could do that, the calendar didn't automatically set up reminders for you. So if you want to be reminded of appointments , you have to go into ever appointment on your calendar to set a reminder. Why not just have the app set up to send notifications for reminders for appointments?

That their calendar function also works VERY poorly. Essentially they just link to google calendar or apple and then…nothing. Your own calendar pops up and you have to enter all the info manually! It is so annoying. It also just prompted me to rate a provider, then of course it crashed while I was trying to do that. So I avoid this terrible app whenever possible. Unreliable, waste of time, all of these things.
