## Janus Henderson Direct Reviews in United States

### **--- "So basic but not very helpful"
Needs more features. Can’t check history. You can check the current balance. You can’t see any performance history or any graphs. It’s so basic. Why would they not add that to the app. It’s pretty worthless if I have to go to the main website for any additional information.
-- Wistletone, 2025-04-10

### **--- "Ap is useless"
It keeps asking me to sign in when I have facial recognition activated. Also there is no place to see performance for 1 week, 3 months, 1 year, also 5 years. The AP is outdated; I recommend the Janus management to look and learn from what other competitors like Robinhood is offering to their clients, then make improvements.
-- Alpernah, 2025-03-13

### ***-- "Missing basic functionality"
I consolidated accounts into Janus. I miss a lot of features I had in other accounts. Things like retirement calculators and even just a simple chart showing historical performance. I’ve made an excel spreadsheet I fat finger my balance into periodically to see how much money I’m losing.
-- Memyselfand1j, 2025-02-10

### *---- "The App is Horrendous"
The app has such an aggressive log-in screen where I almost have to reset my password everytime I open the app. Better off just accessing it on a desktop, which is a bummer.
-- ADTRbest, 2024-01-06

### **--- "Current balance?"
App shows 4 days old balances as current. I want to see my current balances not 4 day old ones.
-- Rougeparkace, 2023-01-04

### ***** "Pretty good"
Simple app that works
-- Klar S, 2022-10-04

### *---- "Can’t Log In anymore."
I used to use this app regularly. Now, for whatever reason, it won’t let me log in anymore. WORTHLESS!!!
-- ALQ-131, 2022-01-13

### *---- "Lacking."
For a top-rated financial institution, this app is severely lacking in almost every aspect. Minimal presentation of balance, performance, daily change, etc to the user. Presentation of data in a visual format is nonexistent. Janus can do much better than this.
-- Blk_hawk, 2021-11-20

### **--- "Limited Utility"
Overall a simple and straightforward app for checking account balances but could use additional features to be more useful and provide more performance details. Currently, the app only shows current balance, daily change, and NAV. Rates of return ( monthly, quarterly, etc) and time series charts of account balances (daily or quarter-ending balances) would be two features to better inform the user of account performance.
-- Happy Aus user, 2021-10-14

### ****- "Overall good if you’re a customer with them"
Overall good app. Easy to navigate. Withheld one star due to what I guess is a policy of requiring you to verify with a sms security code every login. Login from mobile does not require this/can be disabled and is just as face with auto filled passwords verified by the same Face ID the app uses.
Would much prefer if app only required verification with code for transactions as my most frequent in app action is just checking NAV/balance.
