Yes, JB Hi is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is JB Hi legit?
⚠️ The JB Hi app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
This is the kind of app that lacks the normal interface of what every business app should have. First of all, the app doesn’t let you sign up and only users that has an account can sign in meaning that new users can’t use this app and must use their browser instead. Very unreliable and disappointing.
The wording of the interface such as when it says create your username, it looks like a sign up option but when I clicked on it I couldn’t create an account. This would confuse a lot of users and I would not recommend this app to anyone that is new to this app.
Fix the interface and make an option for a sign up and don’t just restrict it to users who have a paid account.

I cannot sign in saying my password is wrong but it’s definitely not. Pls fix the issue so I can buy something 😂 (yes that is a crazy laugh) been going around in circles repeatedly 🤕
Disgusting service
Bought phone plan from JB Hi fi… sales did not disclose all the information, even though I was quite clear on what I wanted. Found out 2 weeks later that plan he put me on was not what I wanted. Went back to the Rosny store, spoke to the manager who was going to look into it and call me back… have not heard back from him either. Would highly recommend using other stores that explain and listen to your needs instead of trying to get a quick sale
Won’t let me sign in
It won’t let me sign in to my acc but it will let me when I search the jb website and it’s already signed in
Works - sometimes- buggy AF
Like the title says. It’s a hit and miss ordeal. Oh and if there’s multiple accountants involved, it’s even more useless.
In credit payments
I am in credit for this account of some $160.00 it doesn’t show up on the new account. Why?

Although I switched data roaming off and purchased an eSIM for data whilst traveling in china, I’m still getting slugged with roaming charges on my JB Hi-Fi Telstra account. Not happy!
Had the app for less than 5 minutes
I cannot stand app that's make you sign away your life just to open them. The second you open the app it makes you sign in before allowing you to do anything, after giving it every little bit of info about me it's says "this doesn't match our records" which makes no sense because i was making a new account and you SHOULDNT have any info on me already 0/5 stars. STOP TAKIMG CUSTOMERS INFORMATION
