Look, don’t even worry about it. This one is the Real Deal! Easily plays all day without issue. And I’m not talking about at low volume. Pro tip: Place it in the corner of the room. It seems to amplify the bass more. The overall sound is great. Download the app so that you can tune the highs and lows. Party on the Go!
I really don’t see any reason I would need to download this app. It does absolutely nothing. Once connected there aren’t any options to do anything. Can’t find the equalizer and search all 3 options in the app. Total waste of using memory on my device
Constantly have to go to my Bluetooth settings to tap on the already connected speaker for the app to sort itself out. Great hardware hampered by another lousy app.
Just love this speaker. It lasts 16 hours on a charge. Sounds excellent and it’s waterproof. If you’re considering getting a portable speaker buy this one. Worth every penny. You won’t be disappointed!!!
I have a JBL charge essential, and this app won’t find it.
I move the slider to change the base or mid or treble and it doesn’t do anything. The number changes by 10%, but it doesn’t change the sound. I change the numbers of them to not be at 50%, I close that page and go back and it’s back at 50%.
Wish there was a way to Power on this speaker through the app
I’ve been using the app for my JBL flip 6 for about a month now. The app is really easy to use and really user friendly.
For almost a year I couldn’t use this app to use with my speakers to play them in stereo. To there credit they do seem to be addressing issues with the app. I can now do stereo playback. However, one thing still bugs me, the app does not show an accurate representation of just how much battery life your speakers have, it constantly says 100%. This wouldn’t be so frustrating if it wasn’t for the fact that the speakers don’t show up as a Bluetooth device connected on the iOS front page where you see you battery status for other devices like your watch or Apple Pencil. I seriously hope they address this. Knowing just how much charge your devices have is crucial.
