JellyAmp is a native music and audiobook player for Jellyfin and Audiobookshelf, the open source media servers.

Your library wherever you are: iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, and CarPlay.

Connect JellyAmp to your Jellyfin server, sign in once, and your music library is ready. Browse artists, albums, playlists, and songs. Search across thousands of tracks. Download music for offline listening. Optionally connect an Audiobookshelf server too, and your audiobooks come along right next to your music, kept completely separate. No middleman, no second account, no streaming subscription.

APPLE WATCH, DONE RIGHT

A real watchOS companion: browse playlists, manage downloads, queue tracks, scrub progress, change volume, and play music on cellular without your phone. Watch streaming quality is configurable separately, and downloads work reliably in the background. Audiobooks are browsable and controllable from the watch too, with playback on your iPhone.

PLAYS NICELY WITH YOUR SERVERS

Bring your own Jellyfin server, and optionally Audiobookshelf. JellyAmp talks directly to both and reports playback progress, so your history stays useful. Your library stays on your hardware: FLAC, ALAC, MP3, AAC, WAV, OGG, and anything else Jellyfin can serve, plus M4B and other Audiobookshelf formats.

PRIVACY BY DESIGN

No ads. No third-party data brokers. No content, search terms, or listening history ever leaves your device except to your own server. JellyAmp records only anonymous, aggregate app usage, never linked to your identity and never including what you played. The only data JellyAmp holds is your Apple user ID for membership lookups, and only if you sign in with Apple.

So far this app is working great connecting to my Jellyfin server. I do a lot of remote traveling with no reception so the download option is ideal for me. Streaming via connecting to my Jellyfin server works perfectly. CarPlay functionality is great.
