Discover just how easy booking a taxi really can be. We understand that it can be frustrating at times trying to book or hail down a taxi but now with the JERSEY TAXIAPP available for free to download onto smartphones and tablets, it really couldn't be any easier and it's the new smart way to get a public rank taxi to your location with all the convenience of a door to door service. Just a few taps on the app is all it takes to get a taxi to come to your location, you no longer need to phone around to price compare as public rank taxis have controlled tariffs that are already the cheapest in the island, so why pay more? Plus we already have twice as many drivers than any other private hire company in Jersey. Once you make your booking you will be able to track the taxi in real time via the built-in GPS mapping giving you an ETA as the driver makes their way to your pick up point and then the app will alert you when your driver arrives. If you need someone else picking up on route, that's not a problem, just add any other requests or directions needed into 'Extra Information' before pressing the 'Confirm' booking button. This information will then be sent to the driver who accepts the booking. You will also get to your destination in the most efficient and safest way possible, knowing that you are in the hands of skilled drivers who have gained years and years of experience and local knowledge about the island. You can also book safely in the knowledge that all the JERSEY TAXIAPP drivers are PSV licensed, have been DBS checked and hold public liability insurance. Key features: - Book a ride now or later - Hail a Taxi through the app by pressing on a car closest to you - Type in pickup address or drag and drop your location on map, or simply click “Pick Me Up Here” - Save your favourite places for easier booking next time - Fare and time estimates before you book - Choose specific options for your trip (vehicle type, luggage, etc) - Booking confirmation pop up and booking ID number - Track your taxi on the map to see it moving to your location in real time - Trip and receipt history for past rides - Rate the driver and comment on your experience - Facebook login and share your ride option CORPORATE CUSTOMERS AND COMPANY ADMINISTRATORS. Why pay out more to have your cab company run an account when you can let your company credit card do it for you, as all our JERSEY TAXIAPP drivers accept electronic card payment. THE APP THAT IS OWNED AND RUN BY THE DRIVERS! JERSEY TAXIAPP was born out of the need for an app that wasn't beholden to private investors. We did not want to be run by a commercial enterprise who saw a return on their investment as the main priority and driving-force over the welfare of their staff and drivers. To reiterate, there is no outside investment, it is run purely as a non-profit organisation by Jersey Taxi Drivers Association (JTDA) members for the benefit of its drivers and customers. These are real men and women that have years of experience between them as taxi drivers, a solid workforce who have a thorough understanding on how the taxi cab industry works on the island. JERSEY TAXIAPP hopes to join the fight to regain a loyal customer base by integrating the trades first fully automated taxi app into the working practices of taxi drivers. We also hope to grow the app into biggest and best dispatching taxi service in Jersey. Edited from 5 stars 12 months ago. After reading the negative reviews I was a little hesitant on downloading this app but thought we would give it a try. It can fail and leave you stranded. It’s a bit useless at busy periods when booking ASAP, but pre booking earlier sorts that. Or it did. We were left stranded 10 o clock on a Friday night 2024 after pre booking hours before. Love the drop pin idea. Would be easier if confirmations were through text message rather email. In a nutshell, unreliable. -- Nvernon26, 2024-08-02 ### *---- "Terrible" Booked a taxi at 5pm for 6.10 and no one showed up -- jdkrndiejje, 2024-06-13 ### *---- "Didn’t arrive to take us to airport" Came late on one occasion and charged more than estimate, then 2nd one didn’t arrive at all- waited 10 minutes, phone number didn’t work and no way to contact them to check. Be wary. -- Martlt, 2024-06-07 ### *---- "Don’t use" Worse than useless. Cancelled me just after the time my cab to the airport was supposed to be arriving. Unfortunately no way to give zero stars. -- Tobler One, 2023-08-30 ### *---- "Nothing available" Try to book, confirmed, then 10 mins later, sorry, nothing available. What’s the point. Just phone the cab firms. -- karljsy, 2023-08-19 ### *---- "Pre-booking doesn’t work" What is actually the point of pre-booking a taxi if it isn’t in fact pre-booked?! It searched for a driver at the time we were meant to be picked up, resulting in no taxis being available!! -- Dal8635, 2023-07-14 ### *---- "Unable to register phone number" I’ve been trying for weeks to register for this app but there’s a problem with it recognizing my phone number and sending the verification code. I’ve deleted the app several times and tried everything I can think of, there’s no customer support. Incredibly frustrating and a complete waste of time! -- Merry mummy, 2023-07-13 ### ****- "Works great" Works great. Always great when I use it. Can track cab once it has accepted the pick up. -- Hornby1968, 2023-07-01 ### *---- "Calendar not working" Visiting on holiday tried to book a taxi to and from an event in the evening. Both trips I booked for on the day, however the confirmation came through for the 1July2023 nearly 6 months after my booking was needed. Resorted to booking through the hotel the old fashioned way! -- Sessils1004, 2023-01-07 ### ***** "Great app! Ignore the negative reviews" This is a great app, I have used the app more than 10 times now and never had any issues. The drivers are polite and only 1 or 2 times have I waited more than 3-5 mins for the cab. -- toohtooh, 2023-01-04 [View all JERSEY TAXIAPP reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## JERSEY TAXIAPP Available In - [United Kingdom](https://apptail.io/app/jersey-taxiapp-AAJc/united-kingdom) - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/jersey-taxiapp-AAJc/united-states) - [Brazil](https://apptail.io/app/jersey-taxiapp-AAJc/brazil) - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/jersey-taxiapp-AAJc/canada) - [Switzerland](https://apptail.io/app/jersey-taxiapp-AAJc/switzerland) - [China](https://apptail.io/app/jersey-taxiapp-AAJc/china) - [Colombia](https://apptail.io/app/jersey-taxiapp-AAJc/colombia) - [Ecuador](https://apptail.io/app/jersey-taxiapp-AAJc/ecuador) - [Australia](https://apptail.io/app/jersey-taxiapp-AAJc/australia) - [Mexico](https://apptail.io/app/jersey-taxiapp-AAJc/mexico) - [Malaysia](https://apptail.io/app/jersey-taxiapp-AAJc/malaysia) - [New Zealand](https://apptail.io/app/jersey-taxiapp-AAJc/new-zealand) - [Saudi Arabia](https://apptail.io/app/jersey-taxiapp-AAJc/saudi-arabia) - [Singapore](https://apptail.io/app/jersey-taxiapp-AAJc/singapore) - [Thailand](https://apptail.io/app/jersey-taxiapp-AAJc/thailand) - [Taiwan](https://apptail.io/app/jersey-taxiapp-AAJc/taiwan) - [Argentina](https://apptail.io/app/jersey-taxiapp-AAJc/argentina) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
