In the end we had to be creative and find pieces from our existing lego collection to complete the robot then once it was completed, the Bluetooth could not find it!!! Also, the kit was sealed and looked notMal on the outside but once you open the box, we were so surprised to see that the pieces were in ziploc bags!!! What the heck!!! Witch can effect the way the jimu app functions, like you can get errors and all kinds of problem that can lead you to wasting/spending a lot of Time into trying to fix it. The reason why I know that a kit can be defective is because if you go to Amazon and search up jimu robot kit, then you choose a kit and look at the reviews. It seems like the majority of people who bought the kit were successful with it. In fact people actually showed a video of their robot moving. But, most of the very few who gave it a 1 star review were dealing with the same things I just said in the first paragraph of this review. So if the majority of people who gave it a 5 star review were talking and showing about their functioning robot, and the very few people who gave it a 1 start review were talking about there nonfunctioning robot, this shows that there are defective kits.
