## John Wesley's Explanatory Description
John Wesley (1703–1791), founder of the Methodist movement, created his Explanatory Notes on the Bible to make Scripture easier for everyday readers to understand. Written in plain language, his notes break down complex passages into simple explanations, removing heavy theological jargon and making the Bible more accessible.

While straightforward, Wesley’s notes also reflect his Methodist theology, emphasizing holiness, grace, salvation, and a transformed life in Christ. His goal was not only to explain the text but also to inspire readers to apply biblical teachings in daily living.

Focused mainly on the New Testament, Wesley’s Explanatory Notes remain a valuable resource for new believers, Bible students, and anyone looking for guidance in their Scripture study. The clarity and devotional insights in his notes continue to encourage Christians worldwide to grow in faith and live out God’s Word.
