An Abomination
For a company selling thousand dollar lights, you really pooped the bed with regard to technology. I create a username and password then can’t log in; I create another one (no, no typos) and can’t log in with that. After submitting the old credentials, it worked. Ok, whatever.
Once I’m inside, the app does basically nothing I can’t do on the light. So let’s summarize:
I download this horrible app to have my data siphoned, for the pleasure of not being able to log on, and then to get no additional value outside of being lazy. Your target market isn’t lazy.
Seriously folks, invest in your tech. A working app is table stakes. You want $1000 for a light? Make me a functional app.
No internet!
Love my Joovv, hate the app!!! So upset!!! I’ve tried for two days to create a log in for app and it continues to tell me I don’t have internet so, I can’t create an account. I tried reinstalling the app, turning my phone on and off-to no avail!!!! So frustrating!!!
Won’t stay connected
I love the Joovv light, but this app has to be uninstalled and then reinstalled and logged in to any time there’s more than a few minutes between sessions. I have the portable light and the app is the only way to control past the factory settings. Once connected it works just fine. It would also be nice if more than one phone could connect to the light with the app. My husband also uses the light but I have to run it for him from my phone.
Poor connectivity/email memory
When it works it works great when it doesn't. I have to re-login. It doesn't connect both of my red lights not the best engineering.
Useless
For a device this expensive you have to fix the app connectivity issue. Inexcusable. Spend the money on a proper developer.

Great to have alongside my Joovv! The app remembers my device and easily connects to it every time I open the app.

Unable to even sign-up
App doesn’t function at all. Asks you to read the privacy policy then never allows you to create a sign-in. Useless.
Essentially worthless
Customer service is a misnomer. While the physical devices are interesting and potentially have some unsubstantiated benefits (their disclaimers summarizes), the app is essentially worthless. During setup I discovered that a larger setting of my fonts in iOS prevented me from being able to see and accept the check box for their privacy policy. Customer service proclaims that many apps don't do this... really? Substandard developers because first I have encountered over thousands of apps. As others have noted the app looses connection. In essence it is a timer - but the Go 2.0 has a built in timer anyway.
My Go 2.0 arrived and I started setup only to find to my surprise that they were offering a Black Friday sale. But due to policy, no discount will be made and a $50 restocking fees for a product just received is inane. And negates the extra savings. There may well be benefits to light therapy - that is why I bought the device. But I would strongly encourage you to look elsewhere. The app is pittiful and they have proven themselves to follow then manta or not reading email and offering canned statements that are idiotic and demeaning. The tech isn't exclusive - go elsewheee
Connectivity and App Issue
App does not consistently connect with Solo. I deleted the app then went to install on iphone 13 and App store only had option to open...but app is not on any home screen. Very buggy. Unit is great though as long as you're happy without app and the tracking.
