## Just Checking In. Description
Know how the people you love are really doing.

Just Checking In is a private daily emotional check-in app that helps you, your family, friends, and trusted circle share how you feel, stay connected, and know when it may be time to reach out.

With one tap, let the people you choose know you’re okay without another phone call or crowded text thread. If someone suddenly stops checking in, their circle can be notified. Premium can also send a missed check-in SMS to a chosen alert contact, even if that person does not have the app.

No pressure. No performance. Just an honest emotional check-in and a simple way to show you care.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Choose how you’re feeling.
2. Share your check-in with your private circle.

It is also for the friend group that promised to check on one another more often and wants an easy way to follow through.

Just Checking In supports real human connection, emotional awareness, and peace of mind. It is not therapy, medical care, an emergency service, a safety guarantee, or a crisis line. If you or someone you know is in immediate danger or crisis, contact local emergency services or an appropriate crisis resource.

Because the people who care about you shouldn’t have to wonder.

## Just Checking In. Reviews in United States

### **--- "Did not work"
I subscribed to the app so I could have friends and family get notifications without downloading the app. I was diligent about checking in daily, but somewhere along the line I stopped getting reminders and missed a couple of days. No one got the text alert. I got back on the habit of checking but again daily reminders kinda stopped and I missed a few days this time, again no one got their alert. I’m very upset to have spent money on the app thinking it was helping and it didn’t work.

### *---- "Keeps freezing"
Just downloaded and can’t get thru the instructions without it locking up
-- Check spelling, 2025-09-03

### ***** "Used less than 24h and love it !!"
I used this app for literally less than 24 hours and I feel very connected, it helps definitely with progress in my goals and just getting through each day, I love it, highly recommended !
-- Zachwhitefitness, 2024-10-12

### ***** "Amazing App!!"
great tool for college students who are away from home!!
-- Niy J1, 2024-07-02

### ***-- "It’s alright"
Fine app for mental health with simplicity. However, don’t like the payment subscription plans.
-- Blazer2323, 2024-05-21

### ****- "Great idea for those close to or in a crisis"
The circle feature is a phenomenal for accomplishing accountability. The feature to let your circle know if you miss a check in is amazing for anyone experiencing a mental episode but who lives alone or physically far from loved ones. The one touch check in is great as well for welfare checks for addicts for example. The journaling feature could have helpful prompts for those new or who struggle with writing their problems. Great idea for an app and could be a great service to the community
-- JLUito, 2024-05-20

### ***** "xwilds"
I really like the ease of use of this app! I enjoy the timed reminders and being able to create a circle of trusted people. I think this would be potentially very beneficial to those needing a way with connect.
-- xwilds, 2024-05-20

### ***** "Best App ever!!"
Makes check in so easy!
-- The Mer Man, 2024-05-19

### ***-- "Good idea"
The idea for the app is a good one. I can see how having a support circle and tracking each other’s moods could improve mental health. However, there are a few problems. One, the app can be difficult to navigate. Second, there aren’t that many features yet. Third, many features the app does have are locked behind a paid subscription model that is in my opinion overpriced. Overall a good idea that has room for improvements to really make it work.
-- CardinalFett, 2024-05-18

### ****- "I like the concept"
But I couldn’t navigate to the support circles which I think defeats the purpose. I do like the timer and being able to set alerts to check in with my own mental health because usually I’m doing better than I think and it’s important to see and reflect on that.
