So I ordered some fresh produce from a local store in the Netherlands and spent quite a lot of money. The order was to be delivered in 20-40mins but took 1.5hrs not just eats problem but their poor tracking system and lack of support is. The order arrived mouldy and attacked by rodents and if you use Uber eats for example it’s easy to report and get a refund but instead just eat takes zero responsibility for the quality of the stores they allow to be listed on THEIR app. Besides that I understand they can’t monitor what leaves the kitchen but wow at least have a way of contacting the restaurant!! Incredible honestly.

The driver got to my gate and then told me he couldn’t hand me my order because the app picked up a location pin that the app picked up wasn’t close enough to my actual location. So even though he was at my gate and literally spoke face to face, he still cancelled my order and returned it back to the establishment. That just seems so unreasonable and imagined frustration having my order right in front of me but having to watch him turn around and return it.
