## Just the News App Description
Just the News is committed to just reporting facts from journalists with a long record of public trust and excellence. In an era where opinion and supposition are too often substituted for fact and where journalists rush to get things first and hope their stories are correct, Just the News tries to stand out by returning to the bedrock promise of getting news first, but first getting it right. We try to deliver exclusive news you can trust.

Just the News is a back-to-the-future initiative where old-fashioned, honest and exclusive reporting is delivered in a neutral voice, but delivered through the modern channels of YouTube, podcasting, e-books and social media. And in a twist of old and new, Just the News journalists deliver unprecedented transparency by offering a Dig Deeper tool on their Web site that allows consumers to see the underlying core materials and evidence that substantiate each story. These embeds replace the shaky promise of modern journalists to "just trust us, we're right" with "we trust readers to look at the facts and make up their own minds."

Just the News is sticking just to the facts, without regard to outcome or personal bias. We will construct original, exclusive content with a neutrality and transparency that lets readers, viewers and listeners make up their own minds.

Just the News is based in Washington, with an eye toward covering events in the capital for those who live outside it. It consists of four divisions dedicated to Web reporting, exclusive news, podcasting and long-form nonfiction book publishing.

Its mission can be succinctly summarized by three brand statements:

Honest Journalism, Trusted Reporters

Information Without Indoctrination

Rising Above Rhetoric

## Just the News App Reviews in United States

### *---- "Forever to load articles"
Takes forever to load article and then is layered with pop up ads. Complete fail.
-- EagleLHR, 2026-05-19

### *---- "Great content, horrible connection/load time."
I get a notice, click on it, and it never loads.
-- Just a guy 345,644,764, 2026-05-03

### *---- "Waste of time"
Like so many others leaving reviews I’m tired of the eternal spinning wheel. Find something better to do with your time than watch a wheel spin.
-- PunchySugar6, 2026-04-25

### *---- "Barely Functional App"
Great articles, unfortunately most of the time the app won’t load and all you get is the wheel without the hamster. Been this way for a while. Too bad.
-- DocHolliday180, 2026-04-19

### ***-- "Used to work better"
I love your news and subscribe but your app doesn’t open half the time. I’m a subscriber but I may have to stop this if the app doesn’t improve. Almost not worth it anymore.
-- BWKeyboardMan, 2026-04-17

### ****- "Won’t Load"
Not sure what you did 2/3, months ago on an update.. loading is a Pain in the kiester
Load/spin/close/reloadinmediatly/close/load AHAIN/read 1 article/START AGAIN!
-- TheJokesOnUS, 2026-04-13

### *---- "Loading Wheel With Ads"
Downloaded the Just the News app thinking it might be a convenient way to read their stories. Unfortunately the main feature appears to be a loading wheel that spins… and spins… and spins.

On the rare occasion a story actually loads, it is immediately buried under a parade of pop up ads that make the article nearly impossible to read. Apparently the app is very committed to advertising. The news part seems optional.
-- Origlmarie, 2026-03-15

### **--- "Worse Than The Web Version"
Not only does the JTN app include the ever annoying auto-play video that no one likes, the popup ads make the app unusable. At least the website can be used with active ad blockers.

Content is excellent but I suspect they are missing a large swath of potential readers because of the ads and annoying video.

I know they want people to pay for the pleasure of dealing with neither but so does the WSJ, for the same amount $.

Uninstalling.
-- PC-12 Pilot, 2026-03-12

### ***** "Honestly and Integrity"
Tells the truth, thank you.
-- Adventure Seeker @ 1967, 2026-02-18

### *---- "Missed opportunity"
I love the honest knowledgeable news. However, if i click on a banner it takes too long to load the articles!!!
