This application can also display JVC car receiver’s source information on the smartphone’s screen, and enables the user to make an audio setting using application's easy to use graphic user interface. Application can also work as a free standalone music player application, when the unit is not connected to the headunit. INNOVATIVE GESTURE CONTROL You can command basic controls such as pause, skip or repeat simply by finger gesture operations on the screen of the smartphone. Also, you can make a search for a specific song, album or an artist from your playlist. RECEIVER SETTING USING SMARTPHONE GUI Audio settings, such as Time Alignment and EQ setting can be easily be set using the JVC Remote application's easy to use graphic user interface. Every time I tried the app would crash. I’ve spent years to finally get it connect and now it only pops up and plays some random play list I have no clue how it got. I can’t delete it can’t find info on how to change it. It’s frustrating I’m not an idiot but I also don’t waste a ton of time on this issue as well it’s not ultimately important. Takes an hour to figure out how to get the app to connect to your stereo. Then once it does it constantly disconnects whenever you do anything else on your phone. App will only play music from your phone via BT so connecting via USB is non existent of which USB is the better quality. Why can’t the Bluetooth just be used for controls. I don’t need a media player within the jvc app. When my phone does it the best.
