## Kado Description
Kado is THE destination for learning things as fast as possible! You can search any topic in the world, and we create personalized resources for you OR you can scan any piece of text and generate instant flashcards!

Want to cut reading and effective learning time in half? Use an app created by students themselves, to snap or upload any text for school, university, or general reading - Kado’s AI will generate a set of flashcards for you in seconds.

Everyone knows flashcards are the most effective learning technique, but no one wants to waste time making them. With Kado, you only focus only on the learning, practicing key knowledge points.

Whether you spend a few minutes swiping through an auto-generated study set weeks before or on the way to your exam, we ensure you’ll learn effectively - and fast.

If you need to know:
- The processes of cell division in Biology
- Types of social influence in Psychology
- How TikTok works
- A comparison of policy effects in Economics
- A reaction mechanism in Chemistry
- The origins of the Cold War in History
- The causes of sedimentation in Geography

Whatever the subject is, Kado has got you covered - just hear from our early users:

“Kado honestly removes the redundant part of making flashcards, I pretty much no longer create my own resources and just focus on learning” - Laith Al Nabhani, UPenn

“It’s crazy how much time this has saved me. Plus having offline access is so useful for a quick refresher wherever I am.” - Giorgia Lombardi, St. Louis High School - Milan

“I never thought to make flashcards before Kado - having the entire process automated is honestly a game-changer.” - Denys Stepanets, Warwick University

Kado has partnered with schools and industry-leading companies around the world like PrepExpert to make sure we’re ahead of the wants and needs of students.

We’d love any feedback you have, feel free to email hello@digest.ai.

## Kado Reviews in United States

### *---- "Doesn’t Work"
Even the registration fails every single time
-- Little_Nerd_Kat, 2026-02-15

### *---- "So many errors"
I couldn’t even register for the app without an error. This app is over hyped
-- Lex2020@, 2025-09-09

### *---- "signing in process"
When I signed in before it was great and fantastic! But then it signed me out and I tried to sign back it but it won’t let me. This app has a lot of work to do. Keep working on it and this app will be perfect but for right now it’s not close to perfect…
-- Colbee Jane, 2024-10-09

### *---- "super bad"
I can't even register
-- Gaby.334, 2024-10-03

### *---- "Error"
It loaded forever and showed an error message whenever I entered my phone number.
-- Kpop’s no.1 fan, 2024-08-27

### *---- "Good Idea - But Utterly Useless"
The idea is fantastic - I would love to be able to scan notes or a text book and get useful flashcards. However, the AI is so underdeveloped that I am quite surprised they even released it. Let me give you some examples of what Kado creates.

To test the app, I uploaded some pages from a basic biology textbook explaining cell membranes. 19 out of the 21 flashcards generated with Kado were utterly useless or, even worse, false. For example, one card asked “What organ circulates the body” with the answer being “Blood plasma”. Blood plasma is not an organ. Indeed, blood is not an organ. Another flash card asked “What is the main organ that is involved in diffusion?” with the answer being “Kidney Left”. There are many organs involved in diffusion - sure the left kidney is one, but so is the right kidney, the intestines, and many others!

There were several questions that focused on memorizing section numbers rather than content. For example, one card asked “What section discusses the diffusion across cell membranes” with the answer being “C5.1”. There were four of these cards in a set of 21.

Examples were completely misunderstood by the AI. The textbook included an example to illustrate how diffusion works. It explained that by dipping one end of a paper towel in water, you can watch the water travel up the adjacent dry part of the paper towel via diffusion. However, the AI created this question: “What is the next step in diffusion” with the answer “take another piece of paper toweling and screw at [sic] up tightly into a ball”.

As you can see, Kado ranges from hilariously bad to dangerously untruthful.

### *---- "1 star rating from me"
When I use pictures of my notes, it creates gibberish for some words, and doesn’t pick up the actual notes. I will use printed papers and still nothing. And it only creates either a few or a bunch of flash cards. I would rather right them down then get stuff that doesn’t help
-- Makenzie Gregory, 2023-09-26

### *---- "Scam"
Let’s make this short, I signed up and did the whole logging in process only to have to restart my phone 3 times and the camera function still not working DONT waste your time on this
-- --stella--, 2023-09-24

### *---- "For your own sake, don’t get the app."
So, lets get straight to the point. I downloaded this app to study, and when I took a picture of my notes (very clear and organized, mind you) The text came out all wonky and a majority of it was practically gibberish, illegible nonsense. I understand you can go in and correct any errors it made, but thats a way more tedious and annoying process and it would be WAY faster to simply go to your local dollar tree, pick up some flashcards, and get to writing. Seriously, not even exaggerating.

Do NOT waste your time with this. It’d be way more efficient to do it yourself, rather than using this app.
-- STRAAANGEEER, 2023-04-27

### **--- "Cool technology, but unhelpful"
The first thing I used this app for was studying for a science test. It seemed great at first and the first question was what carries energy but not matter? The answer: a wave. That was great but the next five question were all about if I am on a raft what would my friend do? Dive. If my friend cannonballs what happens? Wave. What kind of day would you imagine floating on a raft? A warm summer day. It just didnt make sense. For the record there was an example of floating on a raft and my friend jumps in my notes, but only one to two sentences while the app left out the actual important stuff. One other thing that could be better is the app doesnt allow you to delete or edit flashcards. So while there might be some helpful ones I am stuck trying to figure out if my friend did a cannonball or a dive. This app is a great idea and the use of AI is incredible but it is not helpful and makes me frustrated. And now I am writing this review while I am supposed to be studying for my test tomorrow :(
