## KALW Reviews in United States

### ***-- "glitchy"
I love the content but in the last few weeks it just stops playing quite often. i have a strong and stable wi fi connection, and the app is updated, so
I'm not sure why it's glitching every 15
minutes or so. it's quite annoying, to the point that I now just stream
from the website.
-- no thanksutube, 2026-04-20

### **--- "The 90s called…"
They want their app back…
Everything is based on the awful logo. Hard to get beyond that tbh.
-- Tabata Twitchett, 2026-03-04

### ***-- "Station is great—but where’s the playlist?"
Station management should take a look at WFMU’s playlist automation. I’d help fundraise for it!
-- gbd-seattle, 2026-02-01

### ***** "Great app and content"
Prefer over KQED because you don’t have those long, annoying commercials before the feed starts.
-- danielinsf, 2025-11-13

### ***** "Support KALW!"
Love having the option to stream all shows. App is easy to use.
-- Rhinestonebones, 2025-10-19

### ***-- "Its fine for live"
I wish this app would provide links to archived programs to listen to missed programming.
-- Roger ogre, 2025-09-13

### ***** "My favorite station now has an app!"
Really liking this app a lot. I have KALW on most of the time and this makes it even easier when I’m not in The Bay Area. My only feature request is …show us specifically what’s playing whenever possible. I often use Shazam/etc to find music I hear on the station but it would be nice not to have to.
-- Euphorbia Monstrose, 2025-06-09

### ***** "Works great!"
The app works great. It’s best feature is that it doesn’t have a sponsorship commercial every time you start up the app which becomes annoying if you start and stop it several times a day. The reason I stopped listening to kqed and switched to kalw.
-- Babak Agha, 2025-04-03

### ***** "Fab new App!"
Love it. Easy to listen to what’s on air as well as past Wait Wait …!
-- DH Gelfand, 2025-03-01

### ***** "Gives me everything I wanted"
I used the browser site often and the app includes all the features I wished were possible. Thank you to the team at KALW, and to the developers for the thoughtful design of this app!! I love listening in live, and also being able to play on-demand replays.
-- sillykittystar, 2025-02-09

### *---- "It’s never worked on my iPhone 16"
I tried multiple times and multiple locations to stream live radio
-- Paid by the hour, 2025-02-03

### ***** "KALW - the best"
One of the best stations around! Very politically astute & important to the local community.
-- Val Pal #1, 2024-11-08

### ***** "Great App!"
KALW is such an amazing radio station. This app makes all of it’s programming easily accessible. I love it!! 😁
-- tricky-p, 2024-10-14

### ***** "Fast Fun Stylish!"
How often do I listen to KALW? Constantly. But this new app makes it SO much easier! No more jiggling with the funky little antennae cord on my bathroom radio. Easy peasy in the kitchen. Brilliant!
-- Idiot Moose, 2024-10-07

### ***** "Awesome App from Favorite Media Outlet:KALW !"
Best way ever to access all the fabulous content!
-- Zorrolives, 2024-10-04

### ***** "Fantastic!"
So glad they have finally produced this app.
-- ml pa is bad, 2024-09-26

### ***** "Great way to listen"
Having used the mobile site for years, this even better. Love the easy access to past episodes. 🪕
-- tmopa, 2024-09-09

### ***** "Finally we can have KALW to go!"
Love their programming and have been listening at home on Sonos for a decade. Now can hear them everywhere! App is working well. Good graphics!
-- LouWoo2, 2024-09-04

### ***** "KALW strikes its own path, hooray!"
KALW shows (visually in the app) as well as in their programming and every other way that it has courage and vision!
-- Datatatar, 2024-08-25

### ***** "So easy to use!"
Now I can listen to my favorite NPR station and stay in the KALW world!
