For additional analysis, you can choose to send the recording to your physician or to one of our partners for a Clinician Review by a cardiologist (US, Australia only) or cardiac care physiologist (UK, Ireland only).

I suffer with Afib! My Kardia device helps me confirm when I am having an episode. Five times in 2023 and into 2024 I was able to show in emerg what my device was recording. I keep my Kardia in my purse with me at all times.

### ***** "AliveCor’s Kardia Mobile 6L"
The gadget does a decent job, but it will only tell you about tachycardia (high pulse rate), bradycardia (slow pulse rate), or afib, which you can detect yourself using a finger and do a quick calculation (for pulse).

I haven’t seen it warn the user of atrial fibrillation or imminent cardiac block (the former is uncomfortable, the latter is fatal).  And, the readings depend on how still you keep the device.  But, held properly, it renders valid information, but only if you can read the ECG.

I intend to agree to the fee-based subscription to see if it is more helpful to a non-medically trained user.

After having a quintuple bypass, we got cardio mobile to monitor my heart. After a few other complications. The cardio mobile device has been a fantastic tool to show my doctors. Am very happy with this purchase. It shows me when my heart is playing nice and not. Gives me peace of mind as I live 4hours from nearest hospital. It never tells us we are having a heart attack and I’m okay with that. I know my body and when I should seek help. I lived through a Bi-Lateral SCAD and lived to tell about it. Review by board-certified cardiologist not available to users in Canada, even though buyers on AliveCor’s Canadian website are billed in US$, same price as buyers in U.S. who get the clinician reviews included.
