When iPhone goes to sleep or you lock your screen playback of Metropolis shuts down. Also shuts down on screen lock on live broadcast and Live Eclectic channel basically makes this app usesless
Love the music - hate the app
I’m about ready to stop listening – it’s that bad now. Constant updates don’t fix the bugs. Used to be great, but it’s just awful now. Fire whoever’s responsible…
Best radio station!
KCRW has the best modern mix of any station I’ve heard. Great way to get Eclectic 24–their streaming mix. Connects to Spotify so you can build your own playlists from your favs. Based in Santa Monica but I listen in NY—nothing like it here. I even joined just to support them.
Crash city
App is OK sometimes but many of the times it just crashes and closes on its own. I’m gonna try to reinstall now, but it has done this before and will do it again.

App performance issues
This app used to be awesome. I’ve basically stopped listening to Kcrw because the app has a bunch of significant issues on ios. Crashes. Doesn’t work with CarPlay. Absolutely drains the battery.
keeps crashing
I have old and new operating systems on two devices and it doesn’t matter. The app always crashes. I delete. Reinstall. It works for a bit, then crashes.
App doesn’t connect to the internet
This app is so frustrating at times. This morning it has decided not to play. A message comes up saying it can’t connect to the internet. I’ve had to switch to the NPR app to listen today. This is not the first time the app hasn’t worked. Not sure where my membership dollars are going.
