## Kemetic Calendar Description
The Sidereal Calendar is the calendar that was used during the times of the Pharaohs in Kemet. This is humanity’s oldest calendar, yet it is still in use today as the most astronomically accurate calendar in human history.
Throughout the world, many cultures have been forced to use the Gregorian calendar because of colonisation. The Sidereal Calendar gives us a link to humanity’s original culture while providing accurate time division. It unites all of humanity as one people, while giving all of us a reference in time and space that is not based on socio-religious or political events.
All calculations of the calendar are based on the great heliacal rising of the Sirius Star. The Sidereal Calendar is therefore astronomically based, and as a result, entirely scientific.

This Kemetic Calendar app will syncronise with your phone's calendar, import your events, and permit you to schedule events. Learn about the Divinities which rule over each month, as well as follow instructions on how to observe the Holy Days which have been associated with this calendar for thousands of years.

## Kemetic Calendar Reviews in United States

### ***** "Sync"
Having trouble syncing the app to my phones calendar. Any suggestions?
-- From Shaborn, 2025-07-21

### ***** "Good"
The Kemetic calendar, rooted in the ancient traditions of Kemet (ancient Egypt), offers a fascinating and culturally rich system for tracking time. Its structure is both practical and deeply symbolic, blending observations of natural cycles with spiritual principles.

One of the most striking features of the Kemetic calendar is its connection to the rhythms of nature. Divided into three primary seasons—Akhet (inundation), Peret (growth), and Shemu (harvest)—it mirrors the cycles of the Nile River, which were vital to the survival of ancient Egyptian society. This seasonal alignment fosters a deeper appreciation of how humanity is tied to the earth and its patterns.

The calendar also includes an innovative approach to timekeeping with its 12 months of 30 days each, supplemented by five epagomenal days. These additional days, dedicated to the birthdays of key deities such as Osiris, Isis, and Horus, highlight the calendar’s spiritual dimension and its integration of religious observances into daily life.

For modern users, the Kemetic calendar serves as both a historical curiosity and a practical tool. It encourages mindfulness of seasonal changes and fosters a connection to the ancient wisdom of one of the world’s most remarkable civilizations. Moreover, its focus on cyclical time, as opposed to linear progression, offers a refreshing perspective for those seeking balance in a fast-paced, modern world.

Whether you’re a student of history, a spiritual seeker, or someone interested in alternative calendars, the Kemetic calendar is well worth exploring. It’s a timeless testament to humanity’s enduring relationship with nature and the cosmos.

### ***** "Time to fix the bugs"
The app is good but I can’t subscribe for the bonus features
-- I like…., 2024-02-22

### ***-- "Can’t upgrade to premium"
It won’t let me suscribe. Would love to see more but it’s completely freezing the app everytime
-- mel0mel, 2024-01-24

### ***** "Excellent App"
This app is only $3.99 annually to unlock everything in the paid version. Very useful.
-- Nekhitem, 2023-05-09

### **--- "Greed?"
Calendar was great but they since reduced the information given in the free version to pretty much nothing. A one time purchase would make sense but monthly subscription? No make your money elsewhere like from your reasonably priced books or your expensive courses.
-- r2cstar, 2023-01-30

### ***** "Thank you"
As a recent ‘convert’ to the Kemetic faith, I find this calendar very easy to read and informative. However, can you please add the ancient Kemetic holidays?
-- Charlye1216, 2022-04-27

### ***** "Beautiful, Functional, Informative"
The Earth Center is an authority on all things Kemet as it was founded and currently operated by decedents of the original culture, Dogon high priests. This app is a great way to learn and keep up to date with important cultural days and know what days are favorable for offerings and spiritual work.

Works very well on the go.
