## Kenya Airways Reviews in United States

### *---- "The app doesn’t work. At all"
I would give zero stars if possible. The app doesn’t even let you retrieve your booking. I had a flight moved 3 days later and couldn’t get any explanation or any other flight options through the app or the website. Neither work. Trash airline
-- btnm51, 2026-03-16

### **--- "So close"
This app could work if it weren’t so riddled with bugs. Between the difficulties that I have with both app and their website it’s like they don’t want people to fly with them
-- cowseal, 2026-01-23

### **--- "What’s the point?"
I recently signed up for this rewards program and just downloaded the app. The app opens up a separate website link when trying to sign into the miles program. Just why?
The app just says, “Welcome guest”
-- RunningJock488, 2025-09-11

### *---- "Still laughably bad after 130+ versions"
I’ve used some bad business apps in my day, but this one is one of the worst.

Goodness knows why Kenya Airways (KQ) has allowed their web and mobile apps to be so awful.

Suffice it to say that they are not spending the money to hire competent product managers and software developers. That’s management’s fault.

The business logic and back-end integration is stupefyingly bad. Thirty good Kenyan developers could fix the front-end apps and integrations in a year (assuming the backend systems aren’t complete trash).

Embarrassing for such a proud country.
-- Pinot&IPA, 2025-07-18

### *---- "App unusable"
Unable to search flights due to Imperva access denied error without allowing me to authenticate I am human.
-- Jabineer, 2025-07-03

### ***-- "great app"
made checkin very easy
-- fappi18, 2025-05-28

### *---- "App is constantly frozen"
While the functionality is in principle correct - each time I open the app it freezes - which makes it almost always unusable
-- 601 fan, 2025-03-25

### *---- "Extremely Slow"
You would expect better from a Skyteam Airline. The App moves very slow as if the servers are on dial up speed. It has limited features. When you try to reach tech support, the link sends you the company website. They don’t even have IT dept that answer emails about the app. Hopefully one day they will catch up to the rest of the world.
-- 1037thebeat, 2024-12-20

### *---- "FSM"
The worse ever airline I’ve ever witnessed, the inconsistency, lack of communication, unprofessional behaviors from their staffs and crew member both on air and at the airport.. I was supposed to transit in Nairobi to Johannesburg for 1hr 45mins but I end up staying for more than 9hrs in Nirobi and due to that I had to miss my appointment with the USA embassy in Johannesburg… furthermore , they’re thieves, cus they stole my 1000$ watch ( Versus Versace ) and my perfumes from my bag and kept only empty boxes … and on my way back from Johannesburg to Dubai , I was suppose to do a layover of an hour in Nirobi but I end out staying for 16hrs to get on the next flight and had to miss work ….
-- Mc Evra, 2024-08-18

### *---- "Not user friendly"
The app is non-functional and often freezes. KQ, please try, it’s 2024.
