Apple Intelligence-powered Smart Capture: Using natural language you can entirely manage your notes - create, update, share, label, archive, and trash notes while keeping AI processing local and private on supported devices. Jot down a thought, make a checklist, save a link, attach a file, add an image, sketch a quick doodle, or set a reminder — all in a clean, colorful notes experience designed to stay out of your way. Kept is built around the idea that your notes should belong to you. Connect to your own Kept instance and keep your notes, uploads, reminders, labels, and settings on infrastructure you control. What you can do with Kept: • Create text notes, checklists, image notes, drawings, and file attachments • Pin important notes so they stay at the top • Organize with labels, colors, and background images • Save links and generate rich link previews • Attach PDFs, documents, ZIP files, and other useful files • Set reminders for things you do not want to forget • Search quickly and filter by note type, label, or date • Share notes with other users on your instance • Import notes from Google Takeout • Export your notes when you need a copy • Use backups to protect your data Kept is designed to feel lightweight and familiar: open it, capture the thing, move on. No clutter. No heavy project-management system pretending to be a notes app. Just quick notes, visual organization, and ownership. Important: Kept can be used entirely independently, however, for features like note sharing, collaboration, web access, access across devices, and server integrations you will still require a Kept server. You can self-host a Kept server by following the setup instructions are available at www.keepitkept.xyz. The latest updates have made this a wonderful way to have your notes stored LOCALLY on your home network and not giving the “big guys” access to your PERSONAL DATA! If you want to keep your notes private, host Kept and grab this app! -- HyperHawg, 2026-10-24 ### *---- "A ridiculous way method to set up" For some reason, this app requires a convoluted server set up that is impossible to get working instead of just using iCloud like a normal app. -- AtJa80, 2026-09-07 [View all Kept Notes reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Kept Notes In-App Purchases | Item | Price | |------|-------| | Kept Cloud | $2.99 | ## Kept Notes Store Rankings | Chart | Country | Category | Rank | |-------|---------|----------|------| | Top Paid | United Kingdom | Productivity | #81 | | Top Paid | United States | Productivity | #82 | ## Apps Similar to Kept Notes - [Bigtincan Hub](https://apptail.io/app/bigtincan-hub-Qthb/united-states) - [Notesnook: Private notepad](https://apptail.io/app/notesnook-private-notepad-jllb/united-states) - [Typefinity Keyboard & Numbers](https://apptail.io/app/typefinity-keyboard-numbers-kWCc/united-states) - [Naze: Social Media Blocker](https://apptail.io/app/naze-social-media-blocker-Caaq/united-states) - [Quick Notes - Supasend](https://apptail.io/app/quick-notes-supasend-WCEq/united-states) - [TaskForge - Obsidian Tasks](https://apptail.io/app/taskforge-obsidian-tasks-cKEv/united-states) - [Lumical - Scan to Calendar](https://apptail.io/app/lumical-scan-to-calendar-JiBx/united-states) - [Homsy: Home & Family Organizer](https://apptail.io/app/homsy-home-family-organizer-aVuy/united-states) - [Resurf: Save & Organize](https://apptail.io/app/resurf-save-organize-pNuB/united-states) - [Alcove: Tasks & Notes](https://apptail.io/app/alcove-tasks-notes-eiDD/united-states) ## Kept Notes Available In - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/kept-notes-nTNz/canada) - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/kept-notes-nTNz/united-states) - [Angola](https://apptail.io/app/kept-notes-nTNz/angola) - [Bulgaria](https://apptail.io/app/kept-notes-nTNz/bulgaria) - [Bahrain](https://apptail.io/app/kept-notes-nTNz/bahrain) - [Bermuda](https://apptail.io/app/kept-notes-nTNz/bermuda) - [Brunei](https://apptail.io/app/kept-notes-nTNz/brunei) - [Belize](https://apptail.io/app/kept-notes-nTNz/belize) - [Cyprus](https://apptail.io/app/kept-notes-nTNz/cyprus) - [Estonia](https://apptail.io/app/kept-notes-nTNz/estonia) - [United Kingdom](https://apptail.io/app/kept-notes-nTNz/united-kingdom) - [Ghana](https://apptail.io/app/kept-notes-nTNz/ghana) - [Croatia](https://apptail.io/app/kept-notes-nTNz/croatia) - [Iceland](https://apptail.io/app/kept-notes-nTNz/iceland) - [Italy](https://apptail.io/app/kept-notes-nTNz/italy) - [Jordan](https://apptail.io/app/kept-notes-nTNz/jordan) - [Kenya](https://apptail.io/app/kept-notes-nTNz/kenya) - [Kuwait](https://apptail.io/app/kept-notes-nTNz/kuwait) - [Cayman Islands](https://apptail.io/app/kept-notes-nTNz/cayman-islands) - [Lithuania](https://apptail.io/app/kept-notes-nTNz/lithuania) - [Luxembourg](https://apptail.io/app/kept-notes-nTNz/luxembourg) - [Latvia](https://apptail.io/app/kept-notes-nTNz/latvia) - [North Macedonia](https://apptail.io/app/kept-notes-nTNz/north-macedonia) - [Malta](https://apptail.io/app/kept-notes-nTNz/malta) - [Nepal](https://apptail.io/app/kept-notes-nTNz/nepal) - [Oman](https://apptail.io/app/kept-notes-nTNz/oman) - [Russia](https://apptail.io/app/kept-notes-nTNz/russia) - [Slovenia](https://apptail.io/app/kept-notes-nTNz/slovenia) - [Slovakia](https://apptail.io/app/kept-notes-nTNz/slovakia) - [Senegal](https://apptail.io/app/kept-notes-nTNz/senegal) - [Uzbekistan](https://apptail.io/app/kept-notes-nTNz/uzbekistan) - [United Arab Emirates](https://apptail.io/app/kept-notes-nTNz/united-arab-emirates) - [South Africa](https://apptail.io/app/kept-notes-nTNz/south-africa) - [Armenia](https://apptail.io/app/kept-notes-nTNz/armenia) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
