## KETTMaps Description
Play a sport with KETTMaps as it turns your bike trainer, exercise bike, treadmill or rowing machine into a powerful and fun fitness. Choose a video and train on the KETTMaps app. The app will adjust the incline or resistance in real-time according to the elevation profile or structured workout.

The popular app is taking the next step to provide sport participants with a platform that will combine kilometers of real-life footage to train indoors as if they were outside, coaching content, multi-player sessions, official indoor races and more. 

If you don’t have an interactive machine, you can still activate the front-facing camera as a stride, cadence or stroke sensor. Or pair with any existing Bluetooth smart sensor available on the market (cadence, stride, speed&cadence, heart rate strap or chest belt, power meter…)

Main features:
• VIDEO CONTENT 
Thousands of videos are available and new ones uploaded daily: popular routes, iconic climbs or just sightseeing tours. The world is yours.
• STRUCTURED WORKOUT 
The app gives you access to a set of structured workouts and interval programs. 
Interactive coaching videos are at your disposal for indoor cycling, running and rowing.
• SOCIAL
You can: follow users and video makers, like and comment videos, access to the notification center, collect badges and rewards.
• DISPLAY
The app is optimized on the iPhone et iPad, but you can also do mirroring to an external screen, using the Apple TV or just a basic HDMI adaptor. A remote display feature is now available, giving you the ability to display the video on any web browser by just flashing the QR code set on  
• APPLE WATCH
The app is compatible with Apple Watch to receive the heart rate data.
• APPLE HEALTH
The app can send data to Apple Health like distance, heart rate and calories

• This app includes in-app purchases for auto-renewable subscriptions. Subscriptions will be charged to your credit card through your iTunes account. Your subscription will automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You will not be able to cancel the subscription once activated. Manage your subscriptions in Account Settings after purchase.

I would give less than 1 star if the system would let me.
Kinomap have suddenly decided to make this subscription only so if you are like me and used the interval training modes within the app that were always free to use (even in the old Kettler S-Fit app that was availble before Kinomap came onto the scene) then you will be disappointed.
By all means charge for new features and functionality but not for something that was part of the original Kettler training program and was a selling point of their products.
Kinomap the new developers often quote on the update description “our daily concern is offering you the best experience there is” - I don’t think so!!

First you pay thousands for gym equipment that must be connected to your device to record sessions.  Then, after a few years, they slap on a hefty subscription fee to the app that is essential for your equipment to work. If I wanted to pay a monthly fee, I’d sign up to a gym!

Play fair Kettler. You took my money already. Keep your videos but give us a free version of the app where we can log our activity.  This tactic is extortion!

I did contact the developer. So far, their response has been: Sorry. You have to lump it!

Beware of buying your own Kettler equipment! You will still be paying the equivalent of a gym membership afterwards!

I like this app and it works well with my kettler racer s bike. Only criticism is when on a downhill I need to peddle 110rpm in order to keep the video working. Hooking up with Strava works and I'm looking forward to exploring some rides from the comfort of my home :)

Where are the options for Cross Trainer Users, is there a set of routes or activities best suited on a cross trainer?

Can't even find anything to allow creating. Basic plans, even just some of the basic hill climbs etc. 

You have removed major functionality for something like cross trainer.

I have an elliptical cross trainer which doesn't appear to have any maps. 

I get the impression they rushed this out before it was ready. 

I can't event seem to use it in a manual east and the old app is now gone..

Please sort it out. I bought Deutche because you are the best engineers in the world. I await the next significant update so I can use it with my Skylon S.

Considering the cost of kettler machines the app is rubbish.  I have a cross trainer and the app part was a main selling point for me. As said - could be a great app. Sadly all the points made are valid. Furthermore even after re-installing, the app no longer uploads to the online Kettfit site which really annoys me as you loose all collated data for the session. Kettler please listen to your customers and update this app - addressing the issues mentioned.

Really unacceptable that you can't listen to music and use other apps at the same time.
This is such an obvious feature that users will want!!! For me it makes the app unusable and it makes me disappointed with my new cross trainer.
Real shame that it's not designed for the iPad too.

What an amazing app and brings the machine alive. Yes the bike is expensive but not as much as a decent road bike yet you won't be using that in the winter. This, however, will be used all year round and on the hard level gives a burn in the legs and lungs equal to any mountain stage!!

Disappointing that there is no support for ipad. My Skylon S comes with an ipad holder and it's such a shame the functionality to connect it is not available.
