This app is awful, doesn’t connect half time and now they have took the re issue top up option away. Of course the office is closed and now I have to get up in the morning with no electric!! Absolutely awful service

So you update and it removes my payment details. So I add them in again and get charged £1.01 to do so on top of my top up. You lads not get enough off people as it is? Also…… used to get asked to verify payment with bank once in a while not it every time. Starting to become a hassle more than a convenience. Don’t give the usual developer response crap as you’ve done nothing despite the constant bad feedback

Has worked once since June . Pointless , would prefer to return to the previous keypad version as it at least worked . If you are thinking about upgrading to this keypad … don’t . You will spend more time in frustration that it doesn’t work as jt should and trying to connect  . 
I have rang power ni and emailed support and been given the code to enter to turn Bluetooth on and still nothing , even asked the man reading the meter to help . Not fit for purpose .

Completely useless! Complained already and to be fair power ni were very responsive and came and changed smart meter but the problem continues I never receive low balance alerts and even though managed to get connected today by having to go outside and turn off and on Bluetooth when I tried to top up electric nope couldn’t send so had to get my husband to enter code manually, what is the issue here it’s the only Bluetooth device I have problem with??

On face value this looked ideal…however in practical terms it’s barely useable…Once connected to Bluetooth it maintains a connection for an undetermined period of time before it disconnects from phone ..No Alerts and no ability to find out remaining balance..To reconnect I have to walk out the box…type in *159268# to turn Keypad + Bluetooth off…then type in same number again to turn it back on before it can re-establish connection with the app…!!! So all in all it serves no purpose at all..!!…in actual fact now takes longer than before to top up electricity..!!

Just doesn’t work.  Wasn’t working when engineer left, even though he tried his best to get some sort of connection but we both assumed that there was a glitch with app.

About 20mins after he left i managed to get a connection & register my details to top up but since that it hasn’t connected once.  I’ve scanned & rescanned.  Deleted & re-downloaded.  Taken the phone directly beside the box (which is showing the bluetooth logo) and just zilch - nothing.  Spent last day & half trying to get a connection at various times - nothing!

So what i’ve been left with is a much smaller keypad that i can use manually BUT as another reviewer has said, it’s not great for those with disabilities - which is why i had asked for it to be installed - it also isn’t great for someone who has poor eyesight as the keypad is so tiny!

Sorry PowerNI but this is completely useless.

Doesn’t connect to the box on the wall most of the time, you have to delete and reinstall the app. Most of the time you have to type in the full code then makes the app pointless, no face/touch ID so more typing, the normal app is actually faster to use because at least it’s got faceID.

When it works this is a great app but unfortunately it only works some of the time. Actually saying some of the time might be being a bit overly generous. Let say it works occasionally, very occasionally & for someone disabled that’s just not good enough. If you get it sorted I’d give it 5*.  Heck I’d give it 6* if I thought it worked as & when it’s needed.

But doesn’t deliver anymore. I’d prefer going back to the top up card. 

The app never remembers my details between uses so that every time I top up I have to re-enter EVERY detail. It’s so tedious. It also means the notification I’d set up to warn me when I was running low never works as it’s forgotten it. 

Disappointing as could be so good.

Got the Keypad+ last week, it was great for the first day but now I can’t read the balance on my phone, my wife’s phone is the same. Topping up worked the first time but it doesn’t now.

 I preferred the old meter prior the the Keypad+. Pushing in the top-up code on the Keypad+ is a bit iffy now. Meh!
