## KHMER Language Description
This app is for learning Khmer (Cambodian) language in English.

For beginners.
The main content is vocabulary and characters, and there are small quizzes to test your skills.

Three major features

■Simple and easy to use
It is designed to be simple, with no unnecessary content or story elements.
Therefore, it is intuitive to use and you can quickly find the information you want.
There is no need to register or log in.

■Can be used offline
This app can be used even without an internet connection.
For example, you can use it even if you have just arrived in Cambodia and do not have a connection yet.

■Audio by native speakers
Voices by local native speakers are included for pronunciation. The playback speed can also be changed.

* 275 basic Khmer vocabulary words that are frequently used, such as numbers and colors.
It also has a red sheet function that is convenient for memorization.

* 68 phrases
Basic phrases such as greetings and "thank you" and "sorry"

* Characters
"Vowels" and "consonants". You can also check the unique foot characters and two types of script of Khmer.

* Random quiz
You can check your vocabulary with a multiple-choice quiz.

This app uses actual human voices so the pronounciation is accurate. The downside is app’s interaction is basic and lacking. But at least you learn to speak Khmer correctly.

### ***-- "Good concept app but incomplete"
Great for learning consonants and basic words/phrases but not the best for learning to read.

There is only one series of vowels, completely missing the other half for Ow consonants.

Also, you can only listen to the narrow pronounce all the vowels from start to finish. You cannot select an individual vowel to listen to on its own.

There is a function to do that with consonants but not vowels. Good app if you’re not trying to learn to read but just speak basic khmer. I would suggest looking into another app for reading and writing purposes

### **--- "Audio doesn’t work."
I would like to hear the words being pronounced, but there audio is not working.  I’ve tried restarting my phone and uninstalling and reinstalling app.
