KHON was my favorite when I had cable TV and one day I realized I’m paying $80 a month just to watch the news so got rid of cable. From the app where they claim there’s a live news stream it’s always at least an hour behind. This renders it completely useless if you’re trying to use it to check live traffic. HNN app actually is live news and loads a lot quicker. -- Bryce kai, 2024-07-12 ### *---- "Too many ads" So many ads. Navigation is not easy and having to dismiss all the ads and pop ups is not enjoyable. I understand ads pay for the services but ads shouldn’t be more than news stories. -- Liliha808, 2024-05-18 ### *---- "Worst app ever" 0 stars -- Br500 FC, 2023-09-08 ### *---- "Couldn’t get it to start" After selecting what type of notifications I want to see from the app, the app stays stuck on a loading screen. -- cdxx, 2022-12-30 ### *---- "Disappointing" I would like to click on the push messages and breaking news notifications and go straight to the story to read it. Has not happened yet. Could be much more user friendly. -- luv3m, 2022-06-10 ### *---- "Ads make app dysfunctional" So many ads... most of the time, you “swipe up” to close the ad and end up closing the whole app. -- HNL-Chris, 2022-06-02 ### *---- "Alerts" This app alerts the user of breaking news. When you open the app to view the news alert it doesn't let you view it. Its Frustrating. -- dumlaoc, 2022-05-05 ### *---- "Worthless, I deleted." The notification on the the phone are ridiculous and frustrating. You click on it and it send you to watch advertising, after you watch it, still the news on the notification is no where to be found, as you search for it, you are welcome with more advertising. Hello! Developer, your app is very unfriendly user. Fix that. -- Rickdo, 2022-04-29 ### *---- "Less Ads, Please!" I enjoy this app + use the push notifications to track breaking news for the island. But I find it nearly impossible to read stories or browse because of the immense amount of ads on each page. These are the same garbage ads on misc sites - clean out your ear wax, fix your saggy arms - and IMO they don’t have any place on a local news app. Not professional when you have an ad in between each paragraph. I understand the need for profit to help sustain the app development, I just wish there were less, or an option to remove them entirely via a one-time fee. The Apple TV app is the same, except sometimes it will ONLY play ads and won’t play the videos. -- alohabails, 2022-04-18 [View all KHON2 News reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## KHON2 News Discovered Keywords - hawaii news - the maui news - honolulu bus - honolulu - kauai now - hawaii news now - khon2 news - maui now ## Apps Similar to KHON2 News - [Honolulu Star-Advertiser](https://apptail.io/app/honolulu-star-advertiser-hjYb/united-states) - [West Hawaii Today](https://apptail.io/app/west-hawaii-today-MAEd/united-states) - [HNL Info](https://apptail.io/app/hnl-info-GIdi/united-states) - [Honolulu Civil Beat](https://apptail.io/app/honolulu-civil-beat-UKdi/united-states) - [Hawaii Tribune Herald](https://apptail.io/app/hawaii-tribune-herald-eLdi/united-states) - [The Garden Island News](https://apptail.io/app/the-garden-island-news-hLdi/united-states) - [Maui Now](https://apptail.io/app/maui-now-KLdi/united-states) - [Big Island Now](https://apptail.io/app/big-island-now-MLdi/united-states) - [Island News KITV4](https://apptail.io/app/island-news-kitv4-eaIj/united-states) - [Hawaii News Now](https://apptail.io/app/hawaii-news-now-DaIj/united-states) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
