KinderCare FAQ
Is KinderCare free?
Yes, KinderCare is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is KinderCare legit?
🤔 The KinderCare app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
The app is coming along well. Been using it from the beginning. I like the new supplies reminder BUT if I receive a request on Friday the reminder the following morning displays on Saturday. Can this be updated to display on Monday please?
Worst Experience
I had the worst experience with my baby. Never again will I be returning to this center!! One of the teachers was being so uncaring as I watched her cry her eyes out. Worst daycare!
Update is terrible
I can’t tell what time or what order things are happening in the feed. The text size is too big and the spacing is so large you have to scroll multiple pages just to see what’s happening today. Condense the view, make the text smaller or give settings/options so I can do it myself. The app is only useful if it can be utilized at a glance as well as in more detail if needed.
Needs revisions
When the employees mark my kids into school and out of school there are no times added just the fact that they have been checked in and out. As a necessity to the parents that use this app. That would be very very helpful. Also when the KinderCare app pops up on my phone for notifications, it should say what the notification is for. Ie need clothes or diapers wipes. Thank you
Please fix the photos…
Before a recent update I would have given the app 5 stars - who made the decision that you can no longer swipe up/down to scroll through photos, but now you have to select each individual picture from a gallery if you want to see the full image?
Goes back “checked out”
Whenever I click on any new notifications, whether it’s an entry for food, potty, or photo- it shows me that my child has “checked out” and the daily report is ready to viewed (which was yesterday’s report that I’ve already viewed). have to close the app and open again to view most recent updates. Basically I keep thinking my child has been checked out whenever it opens up from clicking on the notification. Aside from that, I really appreciate the app providing me a look into my child’s daily schedule. The teachers are great, too :)
Once a day update is terrible!
Recently they switched to sending a report at the end of the day. Earlier we could follow along and plan better
Can’t compose messages
With the most recent update, we can’t compose messages to send to our kinder care center. There’s no compose button. We can only reply to messages that were in our inbox before the update.
Needing to see in real time
As a parent it would be helpful to see things in real time, not after my children have been checked out of the center.
Love the app
Love the app and the peace of mind it provides us while our kiddo is at the Kcare center. Just wish the app was compatible with the Apple Watch. That would make it a 5 star app!
