## KindiCare Description
Celebrating over 100,000 installs of the KindiCare App!

KindiCare helps Australian families compare, enquire and apply for early childhood education and care services nationally.

KindiCare makes it easy to see all the ratings, reviews, pricing, features and inclusions of early learning services all in one place.

Our Search with Subsidy feature allows you to search for early learning services with your childcare subsidy applied. You can even filter your early learning options based on your estimated gap payment.

Our aim is to make the journey into early childhood education and care simpler, easier and more engaging for millions of parents and guardians; whilst at the same time making the process more efficient and effortless for the thousands of childcare providers who want to ensure most of their time is focused on improving the lives and educational outcomes of the children in their care.

KindiCare has every single registered early learning service right across Australia.

The KindiCare App includes a range of features to help you in your search for the right early childhood education and care service for your family, including:

The KindiCare Rating

KindiCare scores every centre to help parents and guardians understand how childcare services compare at a glance.

The KindiCare Rating also makes it easy to sort your search results based on the highest rating to see which centres perform best in your area.

Global Search

KindiCare provides users a unique predictive search that allows parents and guardians to search for childcare options both by suburb, postcode, childcare brand, childcare centre name as well as by keyword.

The predictive search means that you will always find the right result for your search, no matter how you start your early learning search journey.

Advanced Filters

With every single service across all early learning care types in Australia, KindiCare provides advanced filters across a range of categories to help families very quickly narrow down their search.

You can narrow your search by the type of care, out of pocket cost after subsidy, KindiCare Rating, distance from your location or suburb, value for money, cost per session, National Quality Standard (NQS rating) and more.

This helps parents and guardians quickly find the early childhood education and care type that is the best fit for their family and their needs.

Favourites

KindiCare allows parents and guardians to quickly build a shortlist of their favourite childcare centres and services. This makes it easy to find again, share with family and friends as well as enquire or apply.

Enquiries

The Enquiries feature enables families to make an enquiry to a childcare provider in under 30 seconds. KindiCare sends the details of the enquiry instantly and securely direct to the provider.

Applications

The Application feature enables parents and guardians to easily apply for childcare places electronically and receive automatic updates and notifications as the application progresses.

My Profile

My Profile allows users to store and update their details, as well as the details of their partner and children to streamline the process of making an Application for any service. You can also use your profile to save your childcare subsidy (CCS) information so that you can search for services with your estimated childcare subsidy applied.

Mailbox

KindiCare takes the pain out of communication with childcare providers. The Mailbox lets you communicate securely and conveniently 24/7 with multiple centres and providers all in one place.

Covering Enquiries and Applications, the Mailbox delivers Notifications instantly on your mobile to ensure you’re always up to date – eliminating the need for follow up phone calls and emails!

Value for Money Rating

The Value for Money Rating is a unique rating developed by KindiCare to enable parents and guardians to assess whether a service is good value for money for the price that centre is charging.

## KindiCare Reviews in Australia

### *---- "Useless app, offering false hope!"
obviously reviews are not vetted. found a child care that we used to use with amazing reviews. problem is most of the reviews were all written by management and staff, as well as family and friends that never attended. What a scam this app is, and disgraceful that the Hive Geelong is acting so fraudulently
-- Disgusted Mum 101, 2024-08-30

### ***** "All the reviews in one place"
This made it so simple to Easily find compare and short list the key centres that were right for us and the placement experience made it so simple to get a place!
-- Snowriderau, 2024-01-11

### ***** "Ultimate Childcare Experience"
This is the easiest and most intuitive way to look for childcare in Australia, the experience is amazing.
-- Jono3121, 2024-01-11

### *---- "App constantly freezes"
App freezes on the location search screen constantly. Also shows a vastly different search area than the postcode you type in. I typed in my postcode and selected suburb area and it gave me search results over 50km away instead. Has potential to be a great app but for now it’s super clunky and need an IT support team ASAP
-- Jags_84, 2023-09-11

### **--- "Doesnt show any kinders"
Doesnt list kinders.. not helpful
-- Kris146283, 2022-12-27

### *---- "Location search doesn’t work"
Always defaults to current location
-- bdbeisi, 2022-11-14

### *---- "No replies"
I emailed a couple of day care places and no ones replied. Perhaps this app doesn’t get updated?
-- Amanda qantas , 2022-10-18

### *---- "Not accurate indication of quality"
I’ve searched the centres in the area I’m from and it’s clearly not an accurate indication of quality. Not sure where you get your information from but I don’t believe any of the ratings I read. You need to change your system of getting your information for ratings.
-- Jojolizb, 2022-09-08

### *---- "Rubbish - kept on freezing."
I downloaded this last night, the next day it I could not open the app- it kept freezing/ restarting.

Phone restarted still not working.
-- happy.fe3t, 2022-04-01

### *---- "Misleading"
This app is very misleading. They base it on Google reviews instead of the actual kindy ratings. They have a kindy that is exceeding in all 7 areas as below their good.
This means Kindy’s that are not doing well but have more reviews will be made out to be better then a kindy that’s actually is good and exceeding. This app either should be shut down or they start rating on actual kindy ratings then stupid unreliable Google reviews
