Just STOP do not download this app or give these scammers your hard earned money. It’s a joke. The app works well enough to take your money then conveniently starts bugging. Support is a combative unhelpful and rude. After almost 2 weeks of uninstalling the app, talking to numerous representatives, getting nowhere I asked my account to be closed and my money refunded and I was assured I would not receive a refund for their faulty app. Ridiculous. Calling my bank and disputing any charges from these crooks. READ THE REVIEWS. I saw multiple reviews saying the same thing I didn’t listen. Just don’t do it.

The app is the key to the car and if it breaks you are not driving the car on your paid reservation.

I’ve had multiple issues with this entire experience. There is no explanation with the entire setup of how to pickup the vehicle or drop it off. I was charged with an extra fee for returning the car with low fuel when the tank was full. Attempted to setup another vehicle but every car I selected is stating vehicle not active.

If you want to make reservation and get billed immediately only to show up and have your car be not-street legal, eg illegelly tinted windows, broken tail lights, missing side panels, unfixed major damage from accident, and more—then Kinto is for you. Also if you want to be charged late fees because a tow truck blocked the Kinto drop off parking spaces, fuel charges when returning car with full tank, and want to spend $100 or more Ubering from city to city until the car you paid for is available, you will love Kinto.

I wish there was less than a 1 star so I can be real… These people are excellent in charging your card without even informing you and they will charge you under the title of “tolls” 2x or 3x times for the same cars with the same rental duration. They can’t be real and the funniest thing ever that you can’t talk to actual people everything is automated and no calls everything is by texts auto replies. Been renting through KINTO for legit a year and a half. They have not grown as a company in any way service wise. Why are we texting for help? That is so unprofessional and inefficient. Then you don’t know who’s helping you. You go to get your car at a location you don’t live near and the car does not work. KINTO is not checking these cars!!!!! They’re lying about that. And I would know since I’ve been renting this long. A lot of these cars are dirty when you get inside. Damages on the outside. They’re not fixing them either!! Just tried to book a car and it didn’t work. Was clicking when I tried to turn it on. So I paid for a car that they claimed they checked but actually didn’t. Lawsuit. Instead of switching me to another car, they “requested” a refund. Requested? That should be automatic since this car didn’t even make it off the lot. Lawsuit. And then they wanna charge me for a more expensive car, because the cars that we’re seeing on the lot are for “custom reservations”. What is that?! And where’s that on the app or anywhere KINTO related? Lawsuit. Anyways this app is treading on water. And I wonder what uber would think if someone took this further.

Was able to connect to my vehicle just fine at 2pm, but now unable to work because app is suddenly down.

The car battery and starter died on me and I was unable to check it in Encanto. Still had expectations for me to wash it and return it for when the car couldn’t even start.

My first rental went flawless other than the vehicle constantly beeping that the key was missing and not inside the vehicle. Second rental was a nightmare and customer service was poor. I rented a vehicle thinking I got a Highlander but it was actually a RAV4. KINTO needs to clarify exactly what type of SUV you are renting. You have SUV and Mid size SUV and they both give you RAV4. That doesn’t make sense. When I contacted customer service for help they refused to rectify the situation giving me the poor excuse of policy and terms and conditions. This is not helpful for people who make their money through Rideshare. This cause more problems especially when customer service is unwilling to actually review the situation and the details of what happened. I have choices and KINTO is a great option but the poor customer service and poor navigation of the app are going to make me take my money elsewhere. I’m here to make a living. Not to encounter problems.
